I've always wondered why we don't participate in those tournaments. Maybe that will change under Coach Crumedy.
I was fortunate and won my junior and senior years but back then it was one on one.

Go Bulldogs !!! Excited for Jasper this season. The last game of the season being for the district championship will be a very exciting environment.
Sorry, Jasper is playing Silsbee the last game not WO-S. But you're right it should be exciting with the second place seeding on the line. I'm leaning Silsbee right now but we'll see.

You do know that Coach T recommended Hickman for the job?
I'm not sure this guy knows anything. He talks like a man with a wooden neck. I've talked to some folk in the "loop" also and not getting anything about this imminent decline. Gonna do what most decent folk would do, give this guy a chance.

Because Beaumont is a cesspool? The entire city is apathetic? It's more Western Louisiana instead of East Texas?
That entire school district is a septic wound that continually gets covered with a wart bandaid. They keep making "upgrades" that "are best for the kids" but don't want to admit the adult decision makers are screwing it up for the kids.
I also noticed the question never mentioned if the infinite change in administration that can't allow for consistency.
I may have met my match.

Many coaches could move right in and win with that WOS tradition and a stable full of well conditioned athletes that WOS has. However, sustaining that winning tradition is another story. Time will tell but give him a chance.
I totally agree but you've got to remember these folks are experts, it's not looking good.

Yeah just waiting for some repairs on Roundbunch Rd to get stands moved. Some outfit named Muscles ("If you bit it off and can't chew it, let us do it.") & Sons Inc. doing the heavy lifting.

I hate to say it but the mustang program as we know it will no longer be. The foundation has been broken and now it will start crumbling.
Yeah, I passed by this morning and they were busy rolling up turf. Don't know what's going there. Ive heard the stands are being transported to Bridge City and press box to Deweyville.

Good or bad, all valid points and good for discussion. Gonna have to wait and see how this all turns out. Just know this Mustangs, and this is important, no matter where you've been, there you were, no matter where you're at, there you are, no matter where you're goin, there you'll be. I made that up a while back.

Sorry I got lost on paragraph twelve.

Where can I find PNG t-shirts ? It would be even better if they were band shirts. We have a trip planned to Disney in a few weeks and I would love to show my support while there. I’m not going to lie, I would never wear them again, but it would make me happy to wear it EVERYDAY while there.
Sounds pretty cool. Unfortunately WO-S is probably the the only school whose merchandise is sold throughout the entire triangle. The local PN-G Kroger, Wal Mart etc. should have a pretty good supply tho.

They definitely have some legit hurdles right here in district. Nevertheless I cannot abide any losses in district.

Man this is going to be interesting for sure. Can't wait to see how this shakes out. The doubters definitely have an argument but my chips are on the Mustangs and the tradition. Arguing, fighting, slamming and dogging out folk over this until September is going to be chop busting awesome.

Whatever, I'm about fed up with all this mess. Anyway folks are starting to warm up to "tightly linked group of players on the defensive side of the ball" defense instead of the "Chain Gang" and that is a good sign. It'll all work out. Now can somebody give me another coach's saying please.

Still avoiding the question, 99. "Suspects" by definition means part of a criminal investigation. Its directly linked to criminals, like it or not. Young black males have an inordinately high incarceration rate. WOS is African American (58.1%), Hispanic (18.6%), White (17.8%). 84.8% receive a free or discounted lunch. Young black males compose the vast majority of the WOS football team.
WOS needs to self examine why they allowed (especially) a white coach to use the racist term "Suspects" to describe WOS student athletes. T probably should have been fired for racism. Still looking for a real answer, not continuing deflections. Why are you so badly triggered by this? If Chain Gang is racist, then Suspects is racist.
Why don't you go to his house, look him in the face and ask him then you'll know. Problem solved. C'mon, you're the man. Problem solved. Then you can go on to something new to stir up and snivel about.

Thanks, I was trying to figure that one out. That's a good one.

You are a WOS guy, I am not. You, and other WOS people would know, I would not.
Are you afraid to answer or something?
Afraid? What are you, a clown? No I wouldn't know. I know he did a lot of good for his kids, the other I can't honestly say one way or the other. I guess as long as there are bottom feeders the debate will go on.

Why not?
Why don't you just go find out?

Sounds like a plan. Enjoy, you earned it. And thanks for your patience over the years for letting me slide with my sometimes outrageous ridiculousness.

2022 team previews?

I think a lot of folk, including me who took the previews for granted thru the years are about to realize how much work these guys put in. Anyhow as far West Orange-Stark goes according to some dude honeydew melon or some such it's over, all the good coaches are gone and it doesn't look good. This new coach although he's not started yet must not be any good. I will have to use my natural football savvy to navigate thru this for now.
