Its doesn't what the score unless it's the final score nobody is beating them. Division 1 or 2, when they just threw a team out there against Crosby and still pulled it out. You know it's damn near impossible now that they have gotten there and together. It's two things in my life I know win or lose I'm not betting against tom brady nor Carthage. Your a fool if you do. But to each its on.

Word on the street is the people who do this for a living are rooting for Carthage, they want no part of China Spring. Go figure. But hey, you're the expert.

  2. Mustangs Use Bulldogs Like Household Tool In 30-0 Beatdown....Jasper spokesman Sam Rayburn says "that is the best high school football team I've ever seen."  Asked if he had any advice for the Bellville staff, winners over Rusk in a game shortened by the 17 touchdown lead rule and WO-S next opponent Rayburn replied 'yes...evacuate, or if they give you the choice of showing  up or jumping in a lion's den wearing a pork chop vest...get fitted for the vest."

I'm always looking forward. As long as our boys are not, I'm good lol. Been waiting on this showdown for years. I don't count the last game. WAY too windy.

Yes the game we got our first dose of Surratt.  4th and 12 from like their own 18, and early. He goes for it and makes it, like he's saying "bring it".  Windy, yes  but the cold was worse.  On the way home I saw a dog stuck to a fire hydrant.  Lost to the state champions that night.

My thoughts exactly. Can't remember the last time we have had to sustain a drive deep inside our on territory.Carthage is two games away. One at a time.If we do get past Jasper Bellville should be waiting on us and that my friends will be a task in itself. From here on out one at a time.

Yes and there's Bellville who could win this region and raise an eyebrow or two but it definitely wouldn't be a shocker, not to me anyway.

I'm very curious to see how many long drives WO-S can put together against the Jasper D. I really don't care about the short field as I'm sure they will score at least 2 tds. If WO-S can consistently drive down field on the Jasper D, the Carthage game (if it happens, just got even more interesting)

Good point.  Seems like WO-S has had a lot of short fields due to special teams, turnovers and such.  Going 75 yards against Jaspers defense is a different animal. And don't talk Carthage yet, we're talking different planet. Should be interesting this week tho.

Well they were right after all? We were not a matchup for Aledo. I fill similarly that Marshall isn’t for Crosby.

I agree, kin or no kin Marshall won't be able to hang in this one. Plus anyone able to stay within 3 of the University of Carthage has my attention.

Key word there is “championship”. Even though your things they would PM me about calling you I do agree whole heartedly that LH would’ve played Aledo closer than we did with that style of offense. Crosby played exactly like Aledo hoped they would.

Yeah, got a relative who plays for Marshall and they are a proud bunch they believe they deserve this shot although it will probably end this week at the hands of the mighty Cougars. Just get ready when it comes to "the Cougars shouldn't be here, the only reason they're here......

After watching some tape, I’m not impressed.

we should consistently get pressure with 5.

they rely on being faster to the outside, I’m not sure anyone is going to be fast enough to run the ball outside on Crosby mot named Lovejoy/Ennis/Aledo.

This looks like the Cougars are the better team and to be 100% honest the Mavericks should not be here. They are only here because their opponents literally batted the ball to them to score late.

a sure fire pick turned into a TD, and a fumbled hand off are the reason they survived last week.

doesn’t bode well against a team like Crosby who hasn’t shown those sort of obvious mistakes yet.

That's ironic, sounds eerily similar to what Aledo was saying before last year's championship debacle.
