This is a big game for Coach Crumedy and our program. I know H-F is good and i respect them, but can they beat us after toe meets leather at 7:30 on Friday night?
I say no. Jasper 30, H-F 20.

I heard that Franklin has lunch at Taco Bell on game days to gas up. That opens up the holes for the running game. 😁

I'll take Jasper by 1. The Dawgs just need to get this done.

Maybe a mild upset at best since it was in jasper.
silsbee 41-14 over huffman
spring legacy 29-0 over huffman
this is a pretty good team from what i saw, but yeah i think jasper feels they lost one they should have won.
They're a good football team. No doubt about that. The Jasper radio guys said that Coach saw this as a measuring stick game and they thought we did a good job overall.

Tough one to lose. Kudos to Coach Crumedy for keeping our guys composed at the end of the game. Coach Bishop and the Titans should be ashamed of the way they conducted themselves all night long.

If the Legacy QB had a little more accuracy, Legacy probable could have had 3 or 4 more TD. He threw one out the endzone from about the 50 yard line. I haven't seen Jasper play but Jasper is always good. Whoever plays RT DT for Jasper is going to face #73 and he's like 6'-5" 300+ and will drive his opponent back until this whistle is blown and then land on him.
I heard that Legacy was pretty big overall and could be hard to deal with on both lines. Your thoughts?

Rhule was a slam dunk hire for NU IMO… he will get them back on track quickly just now if a major Texas College wants him I think he leaves for it for tho…
I don't know if he'd leave NU for quite a while if he wins there. After the whole thing in Carolina didn't work, he wanted to go somewhere that he'd be able to build and stay for a while. Nebraska football is everything in that state, so he'll still be high-profile as long as he's in Lincoln. If he gets it rolling there at some point, it'll be tough for him to leave or for HUskers fans to want him to leave.
You're right, though. Anything can happen as there's no loyalty in sports anymore.

Sometimes I wonder, and so you I can ask you so you saying you are a Nebraska fan do you feel like the football team wouldn’t have fell off if they would have stayed in the Big 12?
I think they'd have probably hit this point where they're struggling eventually just because of the way that recruiting has changed, It's tough to get Texas kids up there now unless you have an ace recruiter, closer, etc. They hadn't had one in years. Rhule has those inroads from his time at Baylor and his recruiting class for 2024 has shown that he can do well in Texas. That'd be huge for NU.
At the time that the decision was made, they felt like UT was taking over the Big 12 off the field and that they could make more money in the Big 10, while still competing for conference championships. Pelini was doing a good job getting them to big games those first few years, but they lost them all and he was hard to deal with, so they fired him. I believe they'd still be very competitive had he stayed on board, but it wasn't what the boosters wanted,
Rhule gives them a chance to get back to that level, but it's going to take some time. He knows what he's doing.

We're gonna need to bring it. They've been good so far.
Huffman Hargrave W 29-0
@ Orangefield W 48-10

Somebody's lurking in the weeds in 4A-DII. That's all I'm gonna say...

We're two days ahead of this game. I'm sure everyone on Jasper's staff would tell you that the Dawgs need to pick it up on offense. My question is whether our defense will be able to keep the Wildcats' offense off the field. DCTF seems to think so as they have us as a 29-point favorite. I'll go with it being closer than that because it's hard to read our team after last week.
Dawgs 26
Cats 13
Thoughts?

No one worth being respected asks for it or tells everyone that he deserves it. I wish people were more self-aware so that these things wouldn't need to be pointed out all the time.
Now - That was a really good game from everything that I've seen and heard. Both teams are primed for great seasons.

You've alerted the ScoreboardBot:
Game Over Alert: FINAL - Houston Kinkaid(6) @ Jasper(19) -
I'm a Huskers fan and I 1000% agree that they are out of place in the B1G. They make plenty outside of the media share they get, but moving out wouldn't be fiscally smart even if it means being more visible with a better chance to win.
-
The top three in the AL West are really good teams. Seattle (my team since moving there in 1997) is 32-14 in last 46 and 15-2 in last 17 road games, but they can't keep this up. The question is whether they can stay in the race. It's definitely fun right now.

It's Kinkaid not Kincaid and they will win because apparently Jasper is unsure who they are even playing.
I knew who we were playing, but my ability to read and spell doesn't help anyone. Should be a good game again. 😁

Jasper's John McMillon debuted out of the Royals' pen against the Mariners on Thursday. He gave up a homer to Cal Raleigh, but also struck out two in the inning that he pitched.

I agree. I want to see how we look friday @ a really good China Spring program. Hope for injury free for both teams. I know it's not a game but it's close enough to get the feel. Ready for some football!!!
Let's go!!!

You guys are dead on. The only two things you want to see in scrimmages are that plays are being run correctly against similar competition and that no one gets hurt.
As far as Jasper goes, I want to see the defense play well. That should always be the foundation of our team.

If I had a dollar for each game we lost like this (tons), I might be able to afford a tank of gas.
