    Too bad we don't have a passing game.
    Foster doesn't have his security blanket this year in Cartwright to sling it to.
    We play a good passing team that can stop the run and we're toast. I'm glad we won, but don't get carried away. Some of this is Lumberton ain't that good.

    Rocky start to the year but thatā€™s normal for silsbee. Seems like coach smith has his hands full with some mental mistakes being made tonight and poor tackling.
    but, one thing Iā€™ve learned from following silsbee football for the past few years is donā€™t bet against coach smith. Heā€™s proven himself for sure the last two years.
    It does seem as if the tigers are missing that one or two superstar playerĀ that they usually have that could go off at any time. Iā€™m sure as time goes on one will emerge though.
    It was nice to finally get to see some football; or at least half a game!
