  1. Exactly. What was a meaningful award is now nothing but a tool to promote PC. It’s analogous to giving the Heisman Trophy to a girl kicker who made a 25 yard Field Goal. No! Come to think of it, she missed the FG, but “good try”. 🐂💩
  2. Waking up and seeing this score, I had to wonder if I was in the Twilight Zone, lol. Congrats to the Raiders. I knew McClure was a good player after watching him for a year, but wasn’t expecting much support. Kudos to the other Raiders for stepping up their game. Had to be a team effort for them to beat Silsbee, anytime, anywhere.

😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂 They survived on denigrating Trump. He’s gone. They’re scrambling to identify what their job is now that Trumps gone. Pretty much analogous to a baby that’s had his pacifier taken away. Who wants to watch that, lmbo.

Yep, old @stevenash knows the Market. Doesn’t know much about basketball officiating, but knows his stocks. 😂😂😂
  5. Sure they are. Same ones who held up Covid Relief checks for political reasons. I’ll never forget Pelosi’s condescending reply when ask about holding up those checks with people being hungry - “We feed them”. Then she repeated it - “We feed them”. What a low life, elitist remark, especially with folks lining up at Churches for food provided by donors, not by $15 a pint ice cream Nancy. She makes me sick.

I guess this is the point where Randolph & Mortimer Duke holler, “Sell - Sell”. 😂😂

Well, as the old saying goes, you can lead a liberal to knowledge but you can’t make him think. Or was that something about a horse? I forget.
  8. Why Roberts isn’t there confuses me too. I wonder if it’s the fact he knows it’s unconstitutional already? Imo, the whole thing is analogous to a spoiled child who won’t stop with throwing his tantrum. The man is gone, move on.

  13. Most of us know that the Democrats could care less what the Constitution says, about Impeachment or anything else. But you’re correct CB, it ain’t good.
  14. Just watched Full Measure. A HOR member, who’s a scientist himself, found an error in CDC Guidelines for Covid saying “those who’ve had. Covid will still benefit from vaccine”. He checked Pfizer & Maderna papers & both said there’s no benefit. Thus folks are getting shots that don’t need it, at least now, depriving those that do need it. He talked to 3 Drs there over a month - yes, mistake. But not changed. Finally talked to Asst Dir. yes mistake. CDC finally changed it by rewording it, but it’s still wrong. Moral of this post - Follow the Science “If it’s right”. I wonder if that same “science” is used in Climate Change data? My guess, yes.

My market experience - buy high & sell low. On a serious note, when folks start using this much money to play games in the Market, it’s unsettling. People trading on their phone Apps, many not knowing squat about what they’re investing in. That kind of stuff reminds me of how the 1929 Market got out of hand. I know they have safeties in place intended to prevent it, but if it can be FUBAR’ed, people will find a way.
  16. Imo, as Yogi Berra would say, Coaching is 80% of it and tradition is 50%. A few unique Coaches have the knowledge and charisma (for lack of a better word) to get a 120% out of the kids, and winning begets winning. A top tier Coach will usually get the cream of the crop in the school. They want to be a part of it. Most schools, not so much. For instance, about 40 years ago, when my son was playing 8th Gd football at Vidor, there were two teams. He was the smallest lineman on either team. Both were undefeated until playing each other the last game of season. Seems like in the 9th, the other team lost one or two games. By the time my son was a Sr, he was the biggest (235), and only one other lineman was still playing. The others had all quit, and I mean some big kids. They won one game his Sr year. Would have been in the playoffs if all those others had played. Why quit? No tradition for starters, and I often wondered if the young Coaches in Jr High were better than the head HS Coach.
  17. tvc’s post on bayonets reminds me of my bayonet training during boot camp at Ft. Polk in ‘65. S/Sgt Lee was the instructor. His words: Personally I think this training is a waste of time. Why? Because 3 things have to happen before you’ll ever use it. First, you’ll have to be out of ammunition. Second, your enemy will have to be out of ammunition. And third, both of you will have to have guts enough to bayonet fight. Funny the things you remember. 😄
  18. No doubt. It’s easy to think, “Don’t they realize their costing people’s jobs”. Yes, they realize, but the less working, the more folks end up depending on the Govt. And if anyone doesn’t understand the rest of this story, you probably just don’t want too. As Ronnie Milsap sang, Please don’t tell me how the story ends.
  19. All of us know many diseases adapt immunity to vaccines and antibiotics, but it usually takes several years or decades. That said, why would the LA Times print a story like this. Is it just me, or does this reek of scare tactics? Good grief. [Hidden Content]
  20. To quote a meme I saw today, Biden has more screws loose than a hardware store in an earthquake. 😂😂😂🤣😂😂😂
  21. Sounds like a very expensive game for many. Unfortunately, if it’s not a penny stock, I’m out. It does confirm what I’ve always told folks, especially those against gambling for religious reasons - the Stock Market is one big casino. 😄
  22. We’ve done it once with a few items. I didn’t like it. Besides, if they sell alcohol, there’ll have to be someone to verify age. If they go to all self checkout, they’ll lose most of my business. Market Basket & Brookshires will get my dollars (Yes, I still use money, lol).
  23. @stevenash For those of us totally ignorant of The Market, can you, in very elementary terms, explain what this is all about? The News is making such a big deal of it, I have to wonder if it’s in any way analogous to the 1929 Stock Market Crash. I read/heard it’s making millionaires. I do know if some are making millions, some are probably losing millions, and with so many non-experts having phone apps & working at home with time on their hands, it sounds like a volatile situation. Just hope you can get down to my level, lol. 😜
  24. If there are no UFO’s. If Roswell never happened. I’ve always wondered why any released information is primarily line after line of magic marker blackouts? Take the Roswell case sequence of events, based on reporting. Initial response from Strategic Air Command’s 509th Bombardment Group, RAAF Captures a Flying Saucer on Ranch in Roswell Region. That press released was done by Base PIO (Public Info Officer) after a Lt. Col, a Major, and a Master Sergeant, reported what they had found at the Ranch. The 509th was the only Unit provided with atomic bombs at the time. Would that Unit have 3 men, with that much experience, commanding units and men, that was so important if they didn’t know the difference in a weather ballon and a UFO? Next day Major Marcel was in Dallas with Gen Ramsey doing a photo op with a weather ballon - and the coverup begins. Decades later, they admit claim it was a “special ballon” from project Mogul. Despite these less than convincing stories, Senator Goldwater was not allowed to see the Top Secret Reports, which I’ve heard are now missing. How convenient. I’m not convinced there were alien bodies, but I wouldn’t doubt it. Craft could have been controlled remotely, but I am convinced there was a craft. Amazingly, fiber optics were developed not long afterwards. In 1960 we built the SR-71 Blackbird. A plane so advanced, it still holds the speed records 60 years later. That’s so phenomenal, it almost assuredly was done via reverse engineering of superior technology. But reader, if you believe everything our Govt tells you, sleep secure in the knowledge that there was no crashed UFO, and that we miraculously came up with all the astounding advances following that non-crash. Fiber optics, transistors, fastest plane for 60 years, stealth technology, Moon landing in 69. And those are just a few off the top of my head.
