  1. Thanks baddog. When he returned home after 7 years in the Marines, he had quit going to Church during that time. Once he married and had his first child on the way, he came back strong. We thank God for that.
  2. Had to use jaws of life to get him out. One report, two leg fractures, one compound. [Hidden Content]
  3. My son was ordained as a Deacon in the Catholic Church Saturday, Feb 20th, in Houston. He had six years of study and classes to prepare. My wife and I are proud of him, and feel confident he’ll be a strong ally for Christ. I know some of you look down on the Catholic denomination. Just be aware that Catholics are Christians trying to please God like other denominations. My prayers are that all Christians will grow stronger in their faith, as Christians, not as Catholics, Baptist, or whichever denomination you may be. God Bless!
  4. Bazinga! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
  5. I’m convinced at least 50% of Dem voters have no (zero, nada, none) knowledge of current events, as it pertains to politics. Promise them a cell phone, they’d vote for Li or Putin.
  6. Most conservatives (including me) are concerned about the direction our Country is heading. When I see hard core liberals, like Naomi Wolfe, telling us Biden is pulling off a coup, that scares the 💩 out of me. [Hidden Content]
  7. I agree with the Democrats on legalizing marijuana. I’ve never tried it, and have been staunchly against it most of my life. I’ve now come to the conclusion, that like prohibition, we can’t stop it with laws, so take the profits from the cartels. It’s apparent to me now it’s no worse than alcohol, and actually has some medicinal value.
  8. Elderly Asians being attacked by black men. Left holds rally against White Supremacy. What does that tell you? [Hidden Content]
  9. Stop looking at him through the eyes of a Democratic supporter, or Trump hater. You’re allegedly a nurse. If so, look at him through those glasses. Watch his ramblings and stuttering. If you do that & still don’t think he has dementia, I’ll be shocked.
  10. OOL, but I like this post. The same people politicizing this are the same ones silent when Dem politicians say “stay home”, while being on their vacation. Here’s the deal. Cruz doesn’t appear to be - after my money, after my guns, and doesn’t tell me what I can say or can’t say - Good.
  11. Talk about deflection. I don’t like the Dem politicians but I have to give them their due, they have deflection down to a fine art. The Reps are good but nothing like the Dems.
  12. I like a lot of songs, from Merle Haggard to Sam Cooke. I’d be hard pressed to come up with a top 5 or 10 in a particular order, but “My Girl” would be one of them. I’m with baddog on the oldies. I guess each generation has their music, but how someone could like rap, and not like “Sugar Pie Honey Bunch”, is beyond me. Course my Dad had a hard time liking the music I liked, lol. He was a Jimmy Rodgers/Hank Williams fan. I like some of their stuff too. I pretty much bailed out of Rock when the hard stuff hit, and the Beatles came out with Yellow Submarine.
  13. Priceless ❤️❤️❤️ And bless alll the kids involved there.
  14. The problem with Libs, they’ve lived with hating Trump for four years. They got him out of office because of hate (liberals are great at hating). Then they look around and think, my goodness what have we done? We’ve put an old man with advanced dementia in the White House. He’s going to make us look bad (as if they don’t look bad enough). The results of all that for the next four years, we’ll continue to hear Orange Man Bad, and put up with relentless name calling such as racist, deplorables, chumps, and yes, moron. Since, like Biden, I’m old and have onset dementia, please tell me the last time a prominent Republican Politician called Democratic voters a derogatory name. I don’t hate Dem voters. I don’t understand them. Can’t fathom why they wish to destroy the greatest country in the history of mankind, but I don’t hate them. But then, I’m not a Liberal.
  15. Here’s how this got posted. As I’ve gotten older, it’s not unusual now for me to wake up after a couple hours sleep, and not be able to go back to sleep. I grab the old Kindle and start reading. It’s a mystery involving a CIA Assassin and he’s searching for a guy with the code name Roger the Dodger. Now my fellow old timers have probably figured out how I ended up on YouTube watching this 😜. It’s so good I thought I’d share. Staubach wasn’t the best passer nor runner, but you’d be hard pressed to name many that did both so well. Loved watching him and Drew Pearson hook up. And you younger guys will see the birth of the modern day shotgun, which, at the time, was scoffed at by the rest of the League. Funny that.

    RIP RUSH

Spot on about Paul Harvey. That pause, and then, good day. Simple words that had an impact. That’s that IT factor I referred to.
  17. I’m going with “if they think at all”. 😂😂🤣🤣😂😂
  18. Holy Moly, great point. Off topic, but I’m waiting for someone to tell me what’s going to happen to all those batteries when those electric cars are 10/20 years old. They are a pollution nightmare.

    RIP RUSH

Can’t imagine anyone rising up comparable to Rush Limbaugh. Like him or hate him, he was the King of his field. Guys with his ability rarely come along. Guys like Walter Winchell, Paul Harvey. Analogous to a Tom Brady in football, Michael Jordan in basketball, a Walter Cronkite in TV news, or a John Wayne in movies. Special individuals who have that thing, the IT factor. There are hundreds/thousands of others that do the same thing, a few almost as well or so close, barely indistinguishable, but they don’t have the IT. If there’s a name for IT I don’t know it. I have no idea why they have IT and others don’t. RIP Rush.
  20. I watch CBS News every evening (like a form of penance 😜). They didn’t mention the Popsicle Wind Turbines. I was waiting....
  21. I have no problem with those - IF they’ve been here that long and had no problem with the law, and providing for themselves, they’re vetted, imo.
  22. I approve of the old path, but crossing the border illegally, and not going through a vetting process, is dumber than a lying dogface pony soldier. And our politicians allowing the above during a pandemic, is bordering on criminal behavior, imo.
