If it comes down to those things I feel like Bellville would have the edge. Bellville rarely commits penalties for what it’s worth. 

You’re right… the numbers are a lot closer than they used to be. At one point (maybe 2019?) BC had something like 818 and the next smallest school was almost 1100.  I get why BC is growing, but I don’t understand how LCM is shrinking. 

To Coach Rowe and the Brahmans, I suggest:
1. Talk about their mamas.
2. Use that P word that women hate. 

3. Use “boy,” not that other word. Its 2023. 

4. Flop.  Always flop. 
 
But honestly, i can see this one being a higher-scoring affair with the last possession telling the tale. Silsbee might have problems with the Slot T, but I don’t expect Bellville to stop that a Silsbee O, either.  
 
Extracurriculars in this one have the potential to be devastating for Silsbee in this matchup. I think the Tigers get it done.

There might be a half dozen men (of any color) in the state that have a proven record of doing what has been done in WOS over the last few decades. There might be a half dozen currently coaching who will one day prove themselves capable of what’s been done in WOS. 
Jerry Jones once claimed that there were 500 coaches capable of leading the Cowboys to a Championship…. They haven’t won one since. Hickman isn’t the problem. He’s a decent coach… Y’all are just used to elite coaching and the odds of y’all attracting (much less hiring) an elite coach are practically non-existent.  

It's the parents.  I saw a post recently where Silsbee Parents were INCENSED that their kids wouldn't be allowed to have the cellphones in class because Mama NEEDS to be able to reach Johnny, and there isn't a any old school that's gonna tell her child any different. 
I'm of the opinion that is the instance where administration should dis-enroll Johnny and let Mama get down to homeschoolin'.  
You know, "I don't beat my child and I'll sue the pants off anyone that dares to harm a hair on his head."  There's something about getting drug out into the hall at a young age and trying to hide hot tears when you rejoin your classmates that will alleviate 95% of the behavioral problems that we have in classes today.
