No, we already beat them twice. I never liked Garrett, but he ridiculously won coach of the year two years ago, so it probably takes a while for that to wear off. I think Linehan was the right move. Denver beat the crap out of us last year and they were asked why they were so successful in shutting down our offense. They said they knew what we were going to run before the snap. I recently asked my friend's little girl what she wanted to be when she grows up. She said she wanted to be the President. Both of her parents, Liberal Democrats, were standing there, so I asked her. "If you were President, what would be the first thing you would do?"
She replied, "i'd give food and houses to all the homeless people".
Her parents beamed with pride.
"Wow....what a worthy goal," I told her. "But you don't have to wait until you're President to do that. You can come over to my house and mow the lawn, pull weeds, and sweep my yard, and i'll pay you $50. Then I will take you to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $50 to use towards food and new house".
She thought that over a few seconds, the she looked me straight in the eye and asked, "Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the work and you just pay him $50?"
I said, "Welcome to the Republican Party."

I’m late to this party.  You may be a leftie, but not a complete loon.  The fact that you realize both parties are at fault, is proof enough.  Anyone who thinks their party, whichever that may be, is always right, is not someone who’ll add anything of value to this Forum.
I hope we’ll occasionally find common ground, but agree to disagree without becoming antagonist.  That said, I don’t necessarily advocate a wall from Brownsville to San Diego.  Only in the most important areas, say Brownsville to El Paso

Why not use funds to give actual citizens that need it a better life, instead of spending billions on ILLEGALS?  It seems that is where the money would be better served.  It may not be about the vote for you, but it dang sure is for the Schumer's and Pelosi's in DC.

Simply don't pay it. Sue the ACLU for violating their first amendment rights. Tie it up in the courts till it gets to the SCOTUS where we have a majority conservative bench that honors the Constitution.

Unless it's my team, I usually pull for the underdog. I ride the coattails of the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Longhorns. Been through hell and back with both of them and never jumped ship. Didn't have to be Clemson that beat Bama. Clemson gets no coattail ride from me.

i couldn't care any less about OU winning the whole thing, but it would be nice to see Bama eliminated. Almost had to eat your words. Funny how aggy tucks their tail and runs from a conference they couldn't win, then thumbs their nose at it while going to another conference they can't win, but somehow find an allegiance they never possessed in the Big XII. Hatred for Texas consumes all of you.....what a flag to bear. Keep admiring Bama instead of finding a way to beat them and you will always achieve the same success you had in the conference you now hate. Hate is such a motivator with pitiful results.

Isn't it funny that the SEC's two flagship programs were totally dominated in the end.  I wonder when the excuse of getting beat up by each other during the regular season is going to be played.  As I stated in another thread, no way Georgia beats Clemson, no matter what Vegas says.
