West Texas Style BBQ, between Silsbee and Evadale. Best BBQ in Southeast Texas.
Have you tried JB's in Orange? Brisket is fantastic there. -
Ate there once and won't be back. Had the brisket and they pulled it from the fridge, sliced it and heated it up in a microwave.
You need to try Pecan Lodge at Dallas farmers market. Excellent brisket and pulled pork. I think they are listed 2nd behind Franklin's as best in Texas.
Definitely on my list. Always in the top 5. -
Depends on what other moves they make. If they sign Lebron or Melo, he has to go. His price tag will be too high for a role-playing 3 ball shooter.

Thats one hell of a joke. LOL
You really gotta hand it to this guy. Bedlemon is pure comedic gold!

City Market in Luling has the best sausage by far(Newsweek's 101 Best Restaurants in the World 2012) !! I do not wake up early enough to eat at Franklins but Louie Meullers in Taylor has great BBQ as well as Cooper's in Llano. The new Coopers in New Braunfels is good but not as good as Llano. There is also a small BBQ joint at the corner of 183 and 1431 in Cedar Park called J&J BBQ and it is pretty good as well. Ribs are good, They serve a brisket omelet for breakfast that is awesome.
I gotta try that brisket omelet. You need to do Franklin's at least once. It is absolutely worth the wait. I had the sausage at City Market and remember it being excellent. Been a few years though. Have you tried Mickelwaith's? I have not but I heard they make a different kind each day fresh and they are all outstanding.

You make your pic base on who you like. I make my pic based on who is better. Do I like the character Tim Riggins? He'll yeah I do! Best character on that show. But skill wise. Smash is the better back.
Sorry I'm a little obsessed with that tv show......
I'm just impressed Mr BG got over the Rig gettin it with Lyla thing... -
I been told numerous times on this site that finishing #5 in the country, beating the Big 12-2 champ by 4td's, and winning the Heisman doesn't mean anything because they finished 5th in conference. I guess that's only true in football.
Maybe if you'd finished in the top 4.... -
Shouldn't they have a ferocious collie on the side?
-
5th in conference and he wants a raise?!? Smh....
It is a little better than tied for 7th in conference, no? -
Betting is illegal in texas
Not true. It is illegal to make or accept bets where there is a built in advantage for one of the parties (juice/commission/vig). A straight up friendly wager has always been legal in this great State. -
My son showed me a YouTube video of him dunking. Very impressive to say the least.

No way. Riggins was good but not smash good.
Absolutely. BG just lost a lot of cred. Smash went to Aggieland. Rig went to made up college. So obviously Smash > Riggins. 😀
Now if we're talking who you'd rather drink a beer with... -
His acceleration is what got me, Herschel Sims (former Abilene RB) who I think is the best to ever come out of West Tx didnt have that at this kids age, hopefully he puts on some more weight and stays healthy, he's put on about 10-15 pounds over the offseason (right at 190lbs now)
I agree. Kid has an extra gear. I would have to rank Cedric Benson as the best Rb to come out of west Texas though. Although Smash Williams was pretty good too ;) -
Augie wants an extension. Good for him. You should get spanked a little when you put the greatest manager in the history of college baseball on the proverbial hot seat.

I thought you could be convicted even if you blow under legal limit. This is starting to get over my head....lol
Actually, I have seen prosecutors try cases (in Jefferson County), when the person blew under a .08. There is an either/or scenario in the statute: You have a BAC of .08 or higher; or, you do not have normal use of your faculties (paraphrasing but that's close). IMO, it's BS - why even have a .08 limit if you aren't going to abide by it either way. Most juries will recognize this and "walk" the person if they are under the legal limit with no allegations of other substances (e.g., pills). And you guys are correct, if you aren't of the legal age to drink, you are a minor and any detectable amount of alcohol in your system is an offense.
Here's another element that has never made sense to me: On a first offense, if you are under 21 and give a breath specimen, the DL suspension is for 60 days. If you are over 21 and give a breath specimen, it's over 90 days. I guess the motivation is that any amount is an offense if you are under 21, so encourage them to blow. However, it seems to me it ought to be more penal in you aren't even old enough to drink in the first place.

Not impressed with the buck-20 he batted this year?
-
High alcohol concentration would not be a B misdemeanor.
On a first offense, yes it would. Only difference is mandatory interlock on 1st offense if BAC is .15 or higher...

I just had a friend complete their 2 year probation and that's where I got my numbers.....
and those are the rules....basically, be a model citizen
2 yrs is steep on a class B. 1 yr is pretty standard. Have seen 2 yrs though in cases involving an extremely high blood alcohol content or an accident. -
So gross

Virginia is cheering for this game to go about 30 innings
No doubt -
What a dang catch

Runner beat the tag. Gotta love the unwritten rules of baseball (or hate them).

Like the Young pick. We needed a shooter for sure. I wanted them to take Randle with the 6th pick if we are dealing Rondo. Randle is an immediate impact player, IMO, and will be better by season's end than Bass, Sullinger or Olynyk. Just my opinion. Hopefully Brooklyn will stink it up this year and we will get a top 3 lotto pick next year. I would love to see us get a legit big like Jahil Okafor or Myles Turner.
