If Michigan isn’t offering him sideline passes to Saturday’s game, they are doing something wrong.

Very good post. It’s no secret I have always been, and will always be a fan of Josh Smalley the person. I also happen to think he’s a pretty dang good football coach. I think BC is going to be very pleased with this hire. And I will personally be rooting for them in every game but one this season.

Trying? TRYING? How dare you sir?!

But to be fair, if they DO, I think we can all agree it will be time to give Elko an extension…

Let me see if I can help my buddy with a reverse jinx (attn gambling gods - for spread purposes only): I think the Rams are going to need more points.

Two words: rent free 😂 Even with the “big” Catholics vs Cultists game tonight…

Corso picked the Catholics so should be a wash.

Sounded like a heckuva game. Had to be one of the marquee games in the state last night. Your guys will be fine I’m sure.

I know one school who has had fans who desperately wanted a coaching change so they could finally be rid of the Slot T and have a spread offense installed. Coach who left put up 54 points with his new school last night. School whose fans (some of them, to be fair) wanted change…scored 7…on a blocked punt return. Be careful what you wish for 🤷🏻♂️

Celina would be the favorite huh?

About as good as you could get this week I’d imagine.

Let us know how it is.

Maybe we are all more cynical nowadays but I swear this was my exact initial thought.

Agreed there as well. A month and a half is an eternity in politics.

It’s not rocket science. Elections are now decided by independent voters in about 4-6 states. Which is a good thing for the GOP since it’s been 36 years since the popular vote went red. So try not to pick the candidate that polls the worst with those voters. I do agree about the voter problem, and it obviously runs deep on both sides of the aisle. And neither can see it unfortunately.

If he is, it’s due to low information voters. And not the ones you ironically like to call out. No, it’s the ones who care so little about winning an election, they nominate the one person who could actually lose this.
-
Not sure who his political advisors are but this, combined with suing the people voting (i.e., the taxpayers), he might need a new team. Unfortunately, i think he’s Jerry Jones’ing any team he has anyway.

I wouldn’t call myself a liberal but I’m probably left of most people who post regularly on this board (and right of most of the folks y’all like to argue with except for probably Cardinal Backer). And @AggiesAreWe’s DEI post may be the funniest thing I’ve read on this board that was actually intended to be funny. Of course, when he posts in this forum I’m always on high alert because I know how much he loves the politics portion of this website 😂

As we approach the season… [Hidden Content]

Always liked him. Bobby Bowden had a lot of likable guys in his coaching green

I would lay at least a stroke a hole on 45 vs 46. Trump can really play. His game reminds me a bit of an amateur’s version of our own, late great Bruce Lietzke. Anyway, I’m an only watch golf during majors guy but I found this pretty entertaining.

The most common one I see is comparing Trump to Hitler (i.e., one of the worst human beings to ever walk the earth). Likewise, I remember seeing all kinds of posts, emails, etc. opining that Obama might be the anti-Christ when he was in office (hard to get worse than Hitler but this one certainly is). When a crazy person hears this craziness, it is not a leap for them to believe they are playing hero by ridding the earth of Hitler incarnate or the anti-Christ, etc. I would guess this is what people are talking about extreme rhetoric. At some point, words matter and people need to really be responsible when speaking or, as is often the case with social media, sharing. And both of these old guys running aren’t doing the best job of leading by example either.
