Agreed. Easy targeting call. On the QB no less. However, not sure I’ve seen a head ref throw more flags than this one. He loves camera time. He sounds like Kermit with a lisp too. You would think he would want to talk as little as possible on national tv.

Two SETX rivalry games tonight. One arguably the biggest rivalry in the state. One game thread is replete with whining from both sides about officiating (and who benefitted more from bad calls). The other about which team made more plays, and the fans of the team who came up short giving kudos to the team who got the W. It’s almost like one game involved two teams who “have been there before.” No doubt great rivalries are fueled by two schools whose teams consistently leave it all on the field. But honestly it’s the fans who are the constant, year after year. And IMO, with all due respect to Permian- Lee (which is probably the second best I’ve personally witnessed), NO ONE does it better than you mid county folk. Congrats to the Bulldogs - great win in a game that seems to spit out classic after classic.

Sounds like OF had some early, and CS late. I heard some chatter earlier that concerned me that some were thinking this game was going to be a breeze. Very fortunate to win this one. Coldspring is definitely a team that could win out in this district if they clean up some mistakes.

I will take the Cats, 28-7. Defense has been really stingy and the offense gets better weekly, as you would hope and expect with a new coach, new offense, and young QB.
