As for "clearly upset me", that is simply a matter of interpretation.  If that is your belief, so be it.  As for being a message board guru, check my posts in the last 90 days on this board and you will find I am one of the more infrequent posters amongst the regulars.   I am nothing more than an interested whiney fan who thinks he invented basketball.  You certainly have the right to make your statements about whomever/whatever you wish as I have the right to respond to those statements if so moved.  As originally stated, the main concern was, if you were still an active referee, was it a good practice to offer comments on fans and teams.  If you are truly retired and out of that profession, then the original concern ceases to exist.

^^^Pretty much.  But we can't control that as a group of SE Texans.  What we can control is how we treat others around us.  Whether we like it or not, the world around us is changing.  So do we just sit around and tell each other how much we hate change?  Or do we adapt and try to make our neck of the woods a better place to live?

But personally I wish coach would let the player responsible for the meme play in Friday nights game, and let WOS beat his head in play after play. That'd be a punishment he'd never forget, and allow the WOS kids to feel a sense of revenge.

I agree that all non-district games matter, but I have been told by a bunch of "high-profile" Silsbee fans that they are only worried about district. #ALLGAMESMATTER

Until these sort of acts are Strictly addressed, they will be repeated. In my opinion this borders a Hate Crime to me. If All home games the remainder of the year were players only, the District would feel the pinch and Ensure this sort of heinous act never happens again. This sort of vile behavior must be condemned and exposed for what it is; HATE.  You say the community shouldn't suffer, well I have news for you, both Communities are already suffering. What planet do you live on?? That one kid has stirred up the not so hidden Ugly Side of SETX that made me glad I moved away to go to College. I'm not sure you understand your opening statements, but seems to me that you're concerned more about Football than what damage this has done not only to the WOS kid, but to the Entire SETXcommunity. I'm with you Dove- this is all much ado about nothing.  Paranoia at new heights.  Nothing is wrong here.  If we can take care of changing the redskins name, get the transgender bathroom issue worked out, allow the IRS to keep better tabs on those rich, gun toting, bible clinging right wingers,  get rid of all confederate flags as well as guns, and make the rich take better care of those who, through no fault of their own, are having a tough time making it, Utopia is imminent.  We need less equal opportunity and more equal outcomes!!!!!!!

In America we have problems, a whole lot of problems. Problems that are caused by whites, blacks, Hispanics, Muslims, Christians, Asians, Atheists, you name it. These are problems that are caused by US citizens, people that were born here. People that work here and pay taxes. These are American problems caused by American, that we have to deal with everyday. The people that our government is allowing to come into our country (Muslim refugees, Illegal immigrants) have their own problems. Some want to kill Americans (Muslims) some are bringing over drugs (Mexicans) and some are coming here to better themselves and their family's lives. (Both Muslims and Mexicans). We have enough problems of our own to deal with. Why would any of us want to deal with someone else's problem? Sure not all of them are bad people, but all of them are coming into a foreign country, a country that has laws that they may not be accustomed to. All of them are coming here with nothing to lose and everything to gain. Some of the most desperate people are often the most dangerous. We should caution ourselves around these people and if possible prevent ourselves from being around these people. We should not risk American lives in order to try to save others who don't live by the same rules or play the same game as us.
