I can tell you the basketball  kids and people in Buna are going to miss him. Hard working, raised a ton of money for the program, ran leagues in Buna and held the first 2 boys basketball tournaments in Buna since I’ve been here 20 years. He may not be everyone’s cup of tea but he is hard working and the basketball gym is always open for the kids to play. 

People from Houston will travel and people from Dallas won't. 
That's why Houston had low attendance numbers.

I don’t think nobody thought going in last season thag BU would be better than WB ! But WB lost ALOT & BU basically bringing back their whole team plus the additions of Jones and Coleman son ! A better WB team last year struggled with BU …

Why is it important to you personally to discredit what Daspit has done in his first year?

I’m still wondering how Robertson built this team with only 3 returning Varsity players. Mungy never stepped on the court or put a jersey on last year so how could that count? BC doesn’t even play the same game as when he was there. There's actually chemistry now in the program. Not putting down Robertson, but this is not the same team by a long shot! This team and last year’s team is night and day different. The bitterness and jealousy of his family to get on here and not give Daspit credit for this season is astounding. I mean, why even comment at all? Daspit didn’t cause Robertson to lose his job! Last year’s team would have lost by 60 to the Yates team that BC played last night!

To me it has to be Sells over Miller just for the fact he played more games. Drelon, while you could argue is the better player, only played 17 games. 

Toe Toe got hurt in the State semi-final game. He had 8 points in the first 4 minutes before going down. Nijal Pearson played a hell of a game as a freshman that night to keep Central in it down to the wire. If they would’ve snuck past Kimball they would’ve won’t it. Central brought back all 5 starters and still missed out on the state tournament due to how good Ozen was the next season. One of the best seasons of Beaumont Basketball that year with Central and Ozen going wire to wire as 1,2, or 3 with Lancaster all season.

Ashton Simmons had a triple double and a game winner yesterday in what has been the game of the tournament so far. Also a much needed win for them to try and make it to bracket play.

Even if you want to go with Hefner as the collegiate player he has had a hard time finding a role on the team. Weisbrod was a very very good player once he moved back home. Dominated the juco level and then came in and was one of the top 5 players in the confrence for two years. 
Jamie Weaver averaged 3 points a game at Houston and then had to transfer to Hawaii where he didn’t even end up finishing out playing basketball. 
If you want to go with the guy who played HS ball in the 40s and 50s go ahead I guess. 
Point is, those other two have been to better programs, and Hefner was 100% the better prospect, but no one who has played at Nederland has been better than Colton. 

Well , honestly I am surprised that any staff stayed.   I don't know about PNG if they completely turned over the staff or not , one of the PNG folks could maybe speak to that.   As far as the new plant goes it is going to need way more than 50 full time employees to run it, that plant is going to be huge, and the CP Chem plant across the street has around 150-170 running a much smaller plant.   I will also say that they also run much cleaner than some of the other plants.  Hopefully some of the Invista folks can get on there.  As far as where they live, the plants have no control over that as long as they are within an hour drive. 
Maybe the board and super will be convinced to see the error in their ways and hire a more experienced HC and staff and correct the damage done.
