So no responsibility goes to the voters.

so it takes something like this to get people to change their vote……knowing that they are electing a liberal and knowing her stance on issues.  It s not a surprise.

if citizens had voted for the other person they wouldn’t be dealing with this.  Had they used some common sense instead of TDS to dictate their vote they wouldn’t be dealing with this.

Same story, different day.  The right blaming those "stupid voters" for not voting for the far-right conspiracy theorist TV reporter.  I mean, hell, she sounds great on paper.  The responsibility is on the party to put out decent candidates.  Just like when mush mouth won in Pennsylvania because he was running against Dr. Oz, of all people.  Trump endorses people who will parrot everything he says, and there are enough worshippers of him to get them the nom, but not enough people to go along with it during the general election.  I swear at this point if Trump endorsed a dog turd the right would give it the nomination and then blame moderate and lefty voters for not electing it.  Trump wasn't a bad president, but he's a terrible candidate.  Consequently, the candidates he endorses who act just like him are also terrible candidates.  You can say the politics game is stupid, and it should only be about results.  I don't disagree, but it's now how it works.  Republicans can't refuse to play the game correctly and then blame the other side for when they lose.  It's asinine, and it's also costing us a lot of elections.

But somehow it's always the Republicans fault because they didn't put the "right" candidate up so we (clueless snowflakes that had no idea our poor choice has consequences) had no option but to vote for the other guy.

This is the real problem we face, why would I want to choose a candidate that will make these loons happy.

No, it's always the people who don't vote for bad candidates' faults.  It's amazing how the right blames the left for voting for anyone who runs as a democrat, no matter how terrible they are, but then can't stand it when people won't do the same and elect their bad candidates on the right.

He did endorse a decent candidate that would have been a much better choice than this clown, you're still blaming the candidate and not the real problem, voters.  Anyone with any sense could see problems coming.

The cake walk theory is a fallacy.

He endorsed a TV reporter who parroted everything he said.  Can't imagine why she didn't get elected.

Actually, we are ready to get rid of that property but my oldest son wants us to keep it for now.

None of us hunt. He just wants to keep that property in the family. It was willed to my wife when her grandmother died 22 years ago.

I give my dad a hard time about not buying land when he could for cheap.  He could've picked up a couple hundred acres near where we hunt now for less than $75K back in his early 30s and passed on it, and that same place some for almost $2M awhile back.  land is one of the few things they aren't making any more of.

    Cushing Texas.

Leasing it to four people during deer season.

good deal.  I've got plenty of places to hunt, but always looking for more options, but nothing I'm willing to pay for.  I find people who have problems they need taken care of.  Already have a paid lease for deer.

I voted NO on the property tax gig and I own 4 properties, one with 45 acres.

I just think that "discussion" was an angle to introduce something far worse than property taxes.

location, and does it have pigs or predators that need killing? 😁

    Doesn't really matter, does it?

No way he can win, right?

It's a toss-up IMO, which is crazy considering how poorly Biden has done, and his cognitive state.  Republicans insisting on running the only candidate that has a chance of losing against him is also crazy, but here we are.

    I've got my money on Trump/Lake 2024.

It doesn't matter who Trump picks, he's going to burn them at the stake before it's all over with... just ask any former cabinet member, etc... Trump's VP is facing career suicide.  Not from Trump's enemies but from Trump himself.

I hope it's not her.  She's as close to a Trump clone as it gets, and almost as unlikeable.  She isn't swinging ANY votes.

A puppet for what? The veep has virtually no constitutional authority.

We could say that every cabinet member is a  puppet because the cabinet member has actual authority to do the bidding of the president in their particular field.

Ok, a cheerleader, someone who will go along with everything he says, who would never dare say anything bad about him, never question what he does, no matter how outlandish, inappropriate, or illegal.  Look at how he's gone out of his way to try and torpedo countless politicians who spoke out against him.  He's often petulant, like a little kid who got told "no."  Trying to ruin political careers several levels below him simply out of spite is insane, but he's done it repeatedly.  I'll be shocked if his choice is someone who he thinks will get him extra votes instead of someone who'll stoke his ego.  Hopefully I'm wrong.

Without Kade Dotson they are going to struggle, the same thing happened with Central being the favorite and they lost their best player in a injury in regional final and lost the state semi , they will play hard but without the leader it will be difficult.

Talked to his mom last night.  Hoping he can play, but it’s gonna be tough.  At least it’s his non-shooting hand, but both hands are a big part of his game
