Arkansas was a few close losses last year from having a pretty dang good season. They are better this year than last year. Texas looked bad tonight. I think it’s clear who their starting qb should be moving forward. It’s also pretty clear how overrated Louisiana was. I thought it was funny that the Arky fans stormed the field.

I think they want open borders to continue. Covid is just collateral damage.
-
Pretty sure liberty beat them 37-0 last year, and then went 1-5 in district. So I wouldn’t hang too much on this win.

[Hidden Content] a study of 600,000 cases found unvaccinated people were 4.5 times more likely to catch COVID, 10 times more likely to be hospitalized and 11 times more likely to die.

It sure is good to see you posting! -
I think it had a lot to do with the defense. That front seven is what got TB to the Super Bowl last year.

I’ve stated several times on here that I believe Covid vaccinations are a personal choice.
-
That’s something we can both agree on

Great effort. Missed kicks killed us, but that was a pretty terrible no call on the offensive pass interference. -10 yards instead of +25. Brutal

Cowboys have looked pretty decent. Really impressed with Dak coming off the injury, the receivers, and the pass protection without Martin. The defense has been up and down, but has 3 takeaways. If Dallas had a kicker this is a 1-point game at the half. I’ll be surprised if we win, but I’m pretty okay with a decent showing against the defending Super Bowl champs with all 22 starters back.

The question mark was intentional? Thanks for the input!

Fatal shooting of man breaking into home in Jasper
bullets13 replied to bullets13's topic in Local Headlines
I've always been confident that I shoot someone to defend myself, but was always curious about how I would feel. I was put in a situation a few years back where I had my pistol drawn and my finger on the trigger, and I didn't feel the first bit of reservation. I was glad that I ended up not having to shoot, but I left the situation feeling like if I'd had to I would've been okay with it. -
lol. nailed it? I'm so annoyed with with Fred right now that I just can't control my emotions. Time to go find my safe space!

Exciting News coming from Lamar Basketball !!
bullets13 replied to gonelsons's topic in Lamar Sports Forum
Wait, so Lamar is making the tourney because the conference reached a deal with ESPN? Does the whole WAC get an automatic tourney bid with the new deal? -
We're all waiting for you to stand up and do the same, with you being such a patriot and all. You talk big on the interweb, let's see some action already!
-
pretty much.
-
not exactly. but if it ain't from breitbart or the gateway pundit, it ain't news, right?!?!
-
Curious to see how Dak does. Coming off the major ankle break, and then being hurt most of the preseason, it's hard to imagine him being particularly sharp tonight. But hopefully!

Wait, you mean to tell me that some people who are vaccinated still get the virus? I don’t think I’d know this without you posting at least one article a day about some random politician or college athlete. Considering that when they rolled the vaccine out it was touted as 95% effective, they had already reported that around 1/20 vaccinated people would get sick again. Factoring in a couple of hundred million people have had the shot now, well, you can do the math. You could start your own thread and post those types of articles all day long. It’s also now being reported that the efficacy of fully preventing a breakthrough case wanes significantly after 6 months, so more breakthrough cases are occurring. The great news, which for some reason you never ever post articles about, is that the shot is still overwhelmingly effective at preventing serious illness and death. Nearly 70% of adults in the US are fully vaccinated. Over 90% of hospitalizations are among the unvaccinated, and an even higher percentage of the deaths. Those are incredibly convincing numbers.

How many times you gonna bring up Eric Clapton?

Break into my house while I’m home and the same will most likely happen. -
