  1. My buddy lives in melissa, so I’ve followed them this year. Hell of a run for moving up a division. They had a lead in this one early fourth, SOC scored to go up a TD, then Melissa drove on them and turned it over on downs. Melissa easily could’ve won this one, even though it looks like a comfortable win for SOC on paper
  2. Carthage 24, Pleasant Grove 0, 2nd
  3. Refugio 13, Shiner 14, 2nd
  4. Kilgore 7, Tyler Chapel Hill 7, HT
  5. Longview 14, Timberview 14. HT
  6. I’ll all for that view when it comes to sins that don’t hurt other people. Are you in favor of making all sinful actions illegal?
  7. Man. Crazy game. Silsbee hard done to lose this one.
  8. 4th and 13 for the tigers. Season in the balance
  9. Debate on whether the qb was down on that throw for the 2-pt conversion.
  10. Disagree there. a lot more bad outcomes than good at that point. Get another penalty, turnover, take too long and time runs out, etc.
  11. Sheesh. Would’ve been good from 5 yds closer
  12. I live by right and wrong. I live a better life and have done more for more people that your average Christian. I have no issue with you holding your beliefs, but you're not going to force them on me any more than you're going to let me force mine on you.
  13. No, because I'm every bit as confident that that time won't come as you are that it will. I have nothing against Christianity. My wife and kids go to church, and I encourage them to go. They enjoy it, which I think is great. I do take exception when certain good Christians use their religion as a weapon against select sins, all the while living their own sinful lifestyles without a care in the world. My kids won't be like that. That will be the only teaching regarding religion that I will impart on them as their father.
  14. they'll also go nowhere if Christians refuse to acknowledge that people can inherently be good, and understand the difference between right and wrong without using the Bible as their guide.
  15. one doesn't need the bible to know that these are wrong, and Christianity is not needed to create laws against them. Do you see no difference between these crimes that hurt people, vs. allowing two consenting adults to get married?
