I'd like to see the reduction of handouts as well. if you need medicaid, welfare, SNAP, WIC, etc., you better be putting in at least 30 hours a week at a job or have a legitimate disability or illness. And after a couple of kids, benefits should drop rather than increase with each subsequent kid. quit incentivizing having more children. being an unemployed single mother should not be a career option.

not a chance. HF has one of the best QBs in the area. He might need to get out of that 7 on 7 state championship mindset, though, for two reasons. First, you can't go slinging the ball around like you did on the small field. I think the 7 on 7 style has him being a little careless with the ball. Second, these guys don't care if you won anything in 7 on 7. They're gonna punch you in the mouth.

Dems gave those voters someone that was more palatable than what was being previously offered. The republicans gave them Trump and said "take it and like it", with the implicit understanding that anyone who chooses not to vote for him is an idiot and "the problem." We'll see how it turns out. Doesn't look great.

kfdm has a poll up and 59% of voters say Trump won the debate. Imagine that.

i think LCM beats BC comfortably this year, but it's tough to judge when they've scheduled so differently pre-district. I'm curious to see what Kirbyville does against BC tonight. I made what may be an ill-advised upset pick and took Kville in the pickems.

much credit for that. there won't be many (if any) challenges in district. at least they're playing some real opponents early. may pay some dividends in the playoffs.
