As far as hawks Will it be a 3rd times a charm(1st round)
That will all depend on injuries. ( without a suspended player this year they’d Still be playing). They actually have 3 solid players returning so I like their chances.

How will the Beaumont longhorns be remembered?
2020- 4th place
2021- 3rd place
2022-3rd place
All the controversy that was created a couple of years ago, and it kind of seems like these guys were always a little underwhelming as a whole. How does HF project for the future?
The Horns were what we thought they were. Regardless of who or how they got there they were a third place team. Next year should be interesting in that district. HF had a very good JV but they will all be required to step up and play next year. HJ will add a couple of solid players from their JV but will return 2 really good players in Melvo and Samaha. The Hawks will be the favorites again going in to the season.

WOS vs HJ, only because HJ has had the great misfortune of being without their best player for the second year in a row for bi-district. I still like the Hawks, don’t get me wrong, but if that “A game” Mustang team decides to show up, this definitely could be an upset special.
I agree with this statement. Matchup wise HJ would match up better with both Orangefield and LCM than they do with WOS. I do like the choice of venue for HJ, it’s shooter friendly. I think the Hawks win and advance but it should be a good game. I don’t think they’ll get caught looking past anyone this year. It’s a crying shame a player will finish his career without playing in back to back years. Sad deal

No number #4 will not be back AT ALL!!!!! The coach done did a terrible number on him.. And I refuse to let him come back under that sorry coach..
what if that coach knew he had several players in foul trouble and knew he better rest one to give him a scoring threat with fresh legs in the 4th? People seem to forget no one wants to win worse the guy that sits on the end of the bench. I don’t know the coach or any of the HF players but it’s hard to win with players that walk off in the middle of the game. That’s not on the coach.

This is one of many things
Warren Coach calls for timeout while Kirbyville is on a fast break. Ref actually blew the whistle…..stopped the fastbreak. Then ref realized what he did…..turned to kville coach and said “that’s my fault coach”
ref made a terrible decision
and a coach knows better then to try and pull a fast one like that.
to me a coach calling for a timeout when his team doesn’t have possession should be a tech.
Sounds like maybe they both need to review the rules.

Next years team in my opinion will be very good. They will be very deep and most of them play together year round.
I’m going to wait until the summer to evaluate for next year. I’m gonna have to gloat for a day or two on this year’s prediction 😂HF definitely has some underclass men that are going to develop.

And did it with all of this type of nonsense surrounding the team. He could go 11-23 next year and it’ll probably feel like a win to him after dealing with this stuff all year.
He probably felt like he pulled in to the little dribblers parking lot.

2 very well Coached Teams going at it!!!
Barrett is one of the best around. The HF coach is going to be a good one, he’s had a rocky season but it’s not from lack of knowledge about the game

Minus Sears, not so sure.
Definitely hurts to lose a player of that caliber. They have been playing well though winning the last 3 by 54,60 and 12.

Never want to underestimate your opponent.
Hope the Tigers come out with a sense of urgency and play like it's their last game, which technically it could be for the year.
Livingston has got some kids that can shoot the 3 so I guess anything is possible but I like the Tigers by 30.
-
Livingston really struggles against the press. Not a good problem to have against the Tigers.

Congratulations Hawks on a undefeated district championship!!

Looked like someone let the air out of the ball in this one. Should be final by now.

Years ago I was officiating a game where two girls from the same team basically got in a tussle going for a loose ball. The coach was screaming in my ear demanding I call a foul. When I asked her which player she thought fouled she sat down 😂😂

Add Hull-Daisetta to that list of misses. But in all fairness to them and H-D, 4 of their best players left before school started.
Probably could add Lumberton and Bridge City to that list as well.
Amen. I watched Hull Daisetta and Warren earlier in the season. I didn’t think either club would win a district game. I think injuries hurt the Raiders not sure about the Cardinals
