I know Lumberton had never been to the playoffs before Coach Credeur ,but since the 07/08 teams Lumberton seems to be going back to there old ways. Is it just a lack of talent or is it the coaching? The way they've been playing I'm not sure if they will win a game in this tough 20-4A district.
I highlighted the problem. ;)
Thanks Aggies Are We...and to be fair, they have talent, just not enough.  No depth whatsoever either.  The boys got heart though.  I am critical of their play, but it's just because I love 'em.  Don't count out Credeur, but especially don't count out these kids.  On paper, Lumberton should have beaten LC-M 34 to 12 if you look at last night's stats.  Unfortunately, stats don't win games.
 2. One very important factor left out by most was the INSANELY STUPID penalties which always seemed to show up at key moments in the game.  Big mistakes (INT's, missed pick) and poor kicking.  Lumberton has the gutsiest group of core guys you may ever witness.  But until the goofy mistakes stop, it's gonna be a long road.
 3.

Had it been any kid from BISD, it would be on all 3 local channels and all news papers and CBT would be blamed....
Because Beaumont never seems to truly deal with the problem.  They let the kid who got caught smoking weed in Orange play basketball.  Winning was more important that teaching a kid a lesson.  He ended up doing the same thing at college and lost the scholarship.  BISD has some responsiblity for not holding the kid accountable when they could have.  At least NISD is suspending them from extracurricular activities for 6 weeks.  Must not have been a coach who caught them though!!!lol
And Ned delt with their last 'problem' by letting those 3 kids swappin' head meds back on the team.  Yeah, they didn't play but they were on the team.  Now the kid that got arrested in class is another talk show but Ned is far from perfect when it comes to dealing with it's 'problems'.  A lot of those 'problems' get lucky and get hired on to place like where I work and we all have to deal with them
Respectfully, why don't y'all shut the hell up and quit complaining about something that has nothing to do about anything.  BISD kids, NISD kids, SISD, LISD ...they're no different.  Leave it alone unless you plan on proposing a solution instead of bi&%$ing the whole thread.
 4.
We've been picked to lose this game today, so why's everybody still talking about it???    8)
...because it's fun to rag on people who can't take a little ribbing.  Who "picked" y'all to lose anyway?
 5.
How about those Bmt teams. Judgment Day is tomorrow for both of'm
I agree...I have picked both to lose, but Bmt G has a better chance of an upset than Bmt B in my opinion.
 6.
Heck seeing those enrollment numbers makes me wonder how wos always has 1 team and everyone on that team just so happens to be good. from flag to seniors. and don't tell me its  just the coaching because it takes the kids as well.
It takes Good Coaching AND good athletes.  WOS has both.  I wouldn't try to read any conspiracy theories into it.  WOS breeds football players...just like Indiana breeds Hoosiers.  WOS will always have a good program from Pee Wee to Varsity as long as they keep the enthusiasm for football in the community...and NO, I am not from WOS.
 7. Raiders have played hard the first half of most games...fact is they do not have enough depth.  By second 1/2, the "2-way" guys are gassed.
 8. I would have to say that RUSH is the best band I have seen live!  Zeppelin is pretty sweet too.
 9.
I think what Gusher was asking is this: why is PA allowed to have 9 elementary schools to pull kids from when Beaumont was limited to 5?  Beaumont also only has 2 middle schools to pull from. Also, to whomever made the comment earlier about there being other leagues in PA, Beaumont has a Pop Warner league, the Salvation Army league and the infamous BULLS to compete with. We are certainly not the only game in town.
Thanks, that's a much clearer statement.  Gusher, consider schools like WOS and Lumberton who have 1 High School, Middle School, Elementary School etc.  Both programs have excellent results at most or all levels.  Beaumont teams are new to STJFL.  They will become well established powerhouses in due time (some may have already arrived).
 10.

Still no comparison P.a has more than one league u can play in with 3 different teams..........Png has one team one league ALL Kids play in ......btw you miss counted on number of schools in p.a .......png 1 high school....p.a 1 high school....bmt 3 high schools, public that is !!!!
So I guess the answer is PA has no restrictions then right. Not that it makes a difference here on a messageboard but you have to admit teams that have more kids to draw from have a advantage. If Bmt is limited to (someone please fill in the blank) and that limitation is a say 3,500 kids than why would you say there is no comparison to PA. By the way unless we have high school kids playing on any of the teams I did not include any of those enrollment numbers.
Gusher, define what you mean by restrictions.  There are only 30 kids allowed per team, there are age and weight requirements by each class (Flag/Pee Wee/Jr/Sr) as well as other guidelines that must be followed (Draft rules, certification rules, etc...Go STJFL.NET and look up By-laws, etc). PA is not allowed to go to the playoffs, so there involvement this year is restricted only to the kids being allowed to play in the games (which is good).  Please define your question more clearly.

 13.
I have no dog in this race but is there any restrictions on student enrollement or location of home placed on PA? I think I read Beaumont could only draw kids from a certain area of Beaumont. Is that the case for PA?
]STJFL By-Laws: SECTION 4.  All participants will be certified according to the school in which they attend.  In the case where a school district has more than one elementary or junior high, the STJFL board will make a determination as to how the association will have to split the participants in their association.  The board will consider size of community, locations of schools, school boundaries, etc. while making its determination.  Any child that is home or private schooled must be certified in the district they live in.  No child will be allowed to play outside of their school district without a waiver from the STJFL Board.  The STJFL Board will consider any exceptions or special considerations.

 15. Week 5 LC-G vs LUM-W (-28) LUM-R vs BMT-B (+24) NED-W vs PA (-32) NED-B vs BMT-G (+6) VID-B vs PNG-G (-34) VID-W vs PNG-W (-14) KTZ vs BC (-10) WOS vs OF (+32) LC-W vs PNG-P (+18) I agree with your win/loss... just tuned your scores up a bit.
 16.
Know the actual facts before you make an assumption.  But if you must know we did not put together a dream team and that is a true statement.  You are going off of what you heard and don't know the true facts
Nope, they're facts.  It was not just confusion on the parts of the organizers.  It was a deliberate disregard for the rules.  Look out when probation lifts...PA is for real!  Meantime, you cannot consider them in the rankings.  When the rules are followed which are put in place to keep teams on a more level playing field, PA should be part of the discussion...until then, they are not a consideration.
 17.
PA doesn't count, so I omitted them, Wow, place aside that fact those boys are good and could play with anybody on the field on any given Saturday.  Give props where it is due, 1.  PNG Grey 2. PA 3. WOS 4. BMT 5. Lum It could go either way with those teams still a lot of football left.
Believe me I give those PA boys all kinds of props.  They are awesome.  Unfortunately, the PA organizers sought out to put together a "Dream Team"; therefore, because the adults got greedy, you can't consider a PA all-star team unless you let all the other communities do the same.  Then let's compare.  My hats off to the awesome young athletes from PA.  I wish the organizers had not screwed it all up for you guys.  I am glad they let these kids go ahead and play this season.

 19. Dear Lord, please accept these young men into Your arms, and may You allow comfort and peace for the families, friends and communities that are stricken with grief. Amen.
 20. Kinda quiet from Bullpup country...Where's the smack?  Guess the pups figured they need to stay on the front porch on this one.
Nobody is talking down the BH LB's, in fact you brought it up.  There is one thing that you might have forgotten, you can't hit what you can't catch.
All I keep seeing for the last three weeks is how we don't have any speed. Y'all keep thinking that. We have the smartest and fastest linebackers in 19 and 20 4A. Keep thinking our offensive line and running backs are slow too. That is the same thing our last three opponents have said. Look what happened to them. Just because you think our offense is boring compared to the spread don't be fooled. I'm picking BH 24 Day-10
How many moons are in your world???  No way BH beats Dayton by 2 scores.  Good luck to both, but an early congrats to the Broncos.
 22.
BAD defense ?.......or we just don't want to give credit to a good offense, cause they have D2 behind their school name?...I caught the later half of the 4th Qtr(9 min), which looked like Lamar thought they had this game in the bag after 3 qtrs...If they played 3 strong qtrs, the only thing Lamar needs to worry about is finishing games!
Nope, I was there...BAD "D".  Hope our Cards get it together
QB position is not the problem. If Lamar's defense doesn't get any better, this will be a very long season, one with no conference wins.
QB is still an issue in my opinion...but not near as important as the Defense seems to be right now.

Thats ok allzone Remember #6 That ran one for abt 70yds second play of game! the next series he went to hospital Xrays on wrist were negative. Make no mistake- not saying we would have won but he is our big play maker. So if u got to bring up with our best player out. WE did too and he is our player that scores all our points. All Im saying is #6 WOULD HAVE MADE A DIFFERENCE. Sense we are throwing out excusses!!! Lumberton is a great team and have a great Coaching staff that can adjust in game and put thier boys in position to make plays. I enjoyed playing ya'll And would play ya'll again tomorrow if we could!
I don't think anyone was throwing out excuses...just stating facts.  You are right, though.  Ned-B is a good team!  Could have gone either way.  Good job to both sides. Let's hope all young athletes come out of this healthy and ready for next week.
