No problem, Spy. You have made very sensible and reasonable posts in regards to Burkeville and Silsbee. It's a few of the others, mainly grinch, that has talked out his you-know-what and is giving the Mustang fans a bad rap. I am smart enough not to include everyone with one person's thinking. What I have a problem with is some of the Burkeville fans, including you, trying to make them to be something that they are not. Suggesting that they can play with Silsbee after getting beat by them by 50 points with Silsbee minus their best player, is ludicrous. Then, state that the PG for the Mustangs abused Silsbee, direct quote, "Silsbee could not even handle" and the player only scores 11 points, is just plain ridiculous. If he is actually averaging 18 points a game, looks as though Silsbee handled him along with every other Mustang player quite well. Burkeville is a good 1A team, nothing more, nothing less.

FYI, the official numbers for DC Stallworth last season: Point avg.    13.9 Rebound avg.  10.2 assists avg.    5.7 blocks avg.    2.0 This season points    22.1 rebounds 12.6 assists    3.3 blocks      3.9 Also, he is '6"4. Please provide the link to the recruiting class that you are speaking of? No one has stated that he is a top 25 national or even state. The claim is best in this area, Southeast Texas.

He is also the top college prospect in this area according to the recruiting services and their rankings. According to several coaches and other media, plus just your regular fan, most will say that DC is the best player in the area this year. I personally have seen over 40 different teams from SETX play this season, I have yet to see a better player than DC. You are clueless.

In a 50 point loss, you would need more than a "healthy 5", to make that up. More like a better 10. ;) BTW, no one looked "unhealthy" on that Burkeville team and according to the coach, everything was fine. Do you not remember that Silsbee played this game without their best player and argueably the best player in the area in DC Stallworth? I think he would have made this game a 60-70 point Silsbee win. ;) BTW, where did I say that Chase was better? I think the quote was, "He is one of the better PG's in the area". Wasn't comparing him to anyone. But, I'll say it now, Chase is better. ;D

He is a 4 year starter for Spurger, this being his senior season. Your dad knows what he is talking about. Chase is a very good point guard but he is called on to score more this year than in year's past. I have watched him play over the last 3 years and IMO, he is as good as there is in this area. I am excited to get to see him and the rest of Spurger's team play tomorrow night when I go up there to broadcast their game with Leggett. Should be a good one.
