1. But it's still missing personel, contrary to what you posted. ;) I am not that certain on the "operating in the same manner" but I agree the result would have been the same. ;D

The Hawks came to play but I believe our depth finally wore them out.  DC is very good and a lot of the plays he makes don't show up in the statistics. We hit our FTs down the stretch while the Hawks didn't.  Gus proved how good a PG he is. He seemed to find the open man at will.  When we made our run in the fourth, he was the only Hawk who seemed to handle the pressure. Bosha is gonna be a thorn in the Tigers side for quite a while.  I thought rebounding in the first half was big for the Hawks as well.  And when we would start a little run in the first half HJ would end it with a big shot.  One of those being a LONG rang 3 by Bosha.  Everything you could expect from this rivalry.
Just wondering if those "Silsbee is a 20-30 point better team" disciples still adhere to that contention.
Just goes to show you can win with talent even when your main leader is missing in action. ;D
Hmmmm Not aware of any missing personel for either team
I would say Silsbee not having Travis on the bench qualifies as missing personel. ;) Also. Silsbee was missing Rhone, a key backup, who was gone on a football recruiting trip. HJ still missing Anderson.
 4. As far as the boys games went, Silsbee made a clean sweep tonight, 3-0. HJ  9th    36 SIL  9th    58 HJ  JV      40 SIL  JV      57 HJ            56 SIL          64
 5. I think DC guarded just about every Hawk that suited up tonight. ;D DC did as much on the defensive end as he did on the offensive end.
Yeah but DC lead his team to the victory!!! Sweeter!  ;D
Yeah but Prudhomme gets to come back next year with 3 out of 5 starters with him!!!! ;) ;)
We already talking about next year?? Is Kerry Cooper on this thread?
 7. Also, this win was without the head coach Travis Williams on the bench. Hopefully we will have Travis back for the game at HJ. This win also makes it 7 out of the last 10 that Silsbee has defeated HJ head-to-head.
 8. Score by quarters                   1       2       3       4      tot HJ               15      14     17      10     56 Silsbee          9       14     17      24     64 The 4th quarter was Silsbee's!! They opened the quarter on a 13-0 run, turning a 6 point deficit, 46-40, to a 7 point lead, 53-46. They extended the run to 20-4, getting a 10 point lead with 2:30 minutes left, 60-50. Both teams basically traded baskets the remaining 2 minutes. Yes LAZEEK, DC is very, very good!! He scored 17 of his 21 points in the 2nd half, scoring 10 in the 4th, to lead the Tigers to victory. Prudhomme led HJ with 22. I wasn't too far off on my prediction. I had Silsbee winning 66-53, final was 64-56.
 9. The doors were closed by the time the girls game started, 6:30. According to folks with the school district, they estimated that over 1,000 got turned away.
 10. First, I would like to personally apologize to everyone for the difficulties we had with the broadcast tonight. One of the biggest games of the year and we definitely turned the ball over several times early on. After it was a no-go for KFDM on the video broadcast (I am feeling your dissappointment Lance, but it was not your fault, these dang computers!!!), we had to scramble to get the normal audio link up to do an audio broadcast. After several failed attempts to get the proper link up, we finally made it on air with about 2 minutes left in the first half. It just wasn't a good night in the broadcasting department, sometimes you have these nights. Again, I apologize for the inconvience and for missing the first half of the game. Hopefully we will produce a much better broadcast the 2nd time around.

 18.
Is it cool to wear your hat backwards while doing a video broadcast?????
I am hoping neither one of our faces make it on camera.
 19.
I will hire out my services on this game.....If I pull for one the other will win....
Let me get you a red, white, and blue Hawk T-shirt to wear.
 20. I agree. Rich is a relative term. I am just glad I have rich relatives. ;D
 21. Give it up nash, it ain't going to happen.
 22. Records and game results between HJ and Silsbee the last 4 years (first two years of Silsbee being in 3A they were in different districts): '07                                                         HJ        Silsbee district              77-58  Silsbee            0-1          1-0 district              76-62  HJ                  1-1          1-1 Regional Final      83-79 OT  HJ            2-1          1-2 '08 district              77-59  HJ                  3-1        1-3 district              71-69  Silsbee              3-2        2-3 district tie          74-52  HJ                    4-2        2-4 regional final      62-50  Silsbee              4-3        3-4 '09 district            65-55  Silsbee              4-4          4-4 district            67-64    HJ                  5-4          4-5 district tie        62-50    Silsbee            5-5          5-5 '10 district            50-41    Silsbee            5-6            6-5 district            74-72      HJ                6-6            6-6 regional final    53-50      Silsbee          6-7            7-6
 23. Guys, in '07, HJ won that regional final against Silsbee in OT on their way to the state title. It was the '08 regional final that Silsbee won with Nick hitting the three's.
