[/quote] If you would read closely, I started by using the word "May", as in giving my opinion on it but not really knowing for certain. That's why I asked for coaches to comment on the subject.

May have to do with late game scenarios where you want to make sure you communicate timeouts and play calling. Also, I would think that not having the opposing bench at the end of the court where you are shooting important free throws my be a part of it too. Who really knows? I would like for some coaches to comment on this as well.

You just added 2 more days during the week that coaches, admins, school workers, buses and facilities have to be used. That only leaves Wed. off. Some teams need their subvarsity teams for practice and that would only leave Wed. for a complete practice. Plus, all subvarsity coaches help with varsity. This would put them having to be at 4 games during the week. When would they be able to practice their subvarsity teams? Not going to happen. See what you get for not taking the time to think it through. ;) ;D

Saw where a local basketball guru has Silsbee a 39 point favorite. Also, looking at past records, it has occured to me that HF is 0'fer all time against Silsbee on the court. Look for the Tigers to continue that streak.

I am complaining, but not a parent of a current player. How about starting the games at 4:30 and have the boys varsity games played before the girls games? Let the girls varsity games be the last one to be played that night.

Therefore, the students there would either be attending Buna, which could cause them to move up to 3A, or they would attend Silsbee, who is already 3A.
