This game will be played Saturday afternoon around 3:30pm. It will follow the girls varsity game which will tip at 2pm. There will be no sub varsity games. SETXsports will broadcast the boys varsity game.

Since those two classifications send 4 teams to the playoffs, no team gets a bye in the first round. District play ends on Tues. 15th, the Bi-district round (1st round) starts on Mon.-Tues. 21-22. The weekend of the 18th and 19th allows for any district play-in or seeding games. I would imagine that most teams would like to "recharge the batteries" during that time. 3A-1A district champions are always looking for a warmup game so they will not be off for over 10 days before they play their first playoff game.
