2. Any coach would be looking to better himself. Kirbyville is definitely not the "end-all" type of job. I don't see anything wrong with Jack trying to get a 5A, 4A or bigger 3A job. As for the talent coming up at Kirbyville, I saw their freshman team play some this year, was not too impressed.
 3. Why do you ask?
 4. I know who is getting this job!!! ;) Got a friend in Paris. Kirbyville folks, you............... ;D

I know that WO-S will come in looking to knock them off. And playing with nothing to loss they could be dangerous
\ When you are the top team in the area, every game is a potential trap
Excellant point, nash.
 6.
HJ 9th "mops the floor" with Silsbee 9th if Bosha played on that team!!!!! ;) ;) ;)
::) ::) ::)

 8. I have seen HF play a few games this season. They start 3 kids '6"5 and their guard play overall is not very strong. I agree, they would be much better suit in a halfcourt game. You cannot expect HF to become an up tempo team just because a freshman PG just got moved up. One player fast breaks will not work against HJ, Silsbee and WOS. Silsbee started 3 bigs last year (Thomas '6"6, Jones '6"7, Stallworth '6"4), they were definitely more of a half court team, and used that height to their advantage. This year, the Tigers are much more of a guard oriented team with much more depth. This allows them to be more up tempo, allowing for mass substituting, keeping fresh legs in, giving them the advantage in an up tempo game. I do not see HF with that kind of advantage from their bench. There is no denying that the freshman PG will be good in time, but he and HF will suffer under pressure applied by the likes of HJ, Silsbee and WOS this season. It's best for them to try and slow the pace down.
 9. If the games go according to how they went last Friday, look for another 8pm or later start for the boys varsity game.
 10. I agree, Dale. I am a season ticket holder and will go to games the rest of the season. But I will certainly think twice about being a season ticket holder for next season if things do not change. We still have some season left, things could get better, we'll see. I just do not see Roc taking this program to where we want it to go.
 11. I am up for hire, but they may not be able to afford me. It's too bad, we could of been a contender. Maybe a local "legend in his own mind" can take over. ;)
 12.
Cats--------by-------2
Which cat? Bob or Wild?
 13. Blue, you know I have never been impressed with Roc and his x's and o's from the beginning. His "in-game" decision making is terrible, always has.
 14.
Silsbee's current enrollment as of January 5th is 726 according to the office secretary. WOS was at 653 as of the 5th as well.
You are wrong, just like me. You must have pulled those numbers from the same place I did. ;) ;D Silsbee currently sits at 822.
 15.
Silsbee better not come out flat after that huge upset over those HJ Hawks!!!!   :D
What you talking about? Silsbee played flat in the win over HJ. They'll be up for WOS and get another "upset" win. ;) ;D
 16. LaMarque did not play team ball. Lewis shot the ball 40 times, never tried to get his teammates involved. Ball is the much better team, player wise and coach wise.
 17.
Aggie, Silsbee would NOT beat La Marque. They played a horrible game today. Where you there? I didn't see you.
I watched the game on Fox on-line. foxsportshouston.com
