Martin is the name of the foreign exchange student (figured you would know the name of the players). He had a very good game, scoring 20 and help bringing the ball up the floor. Smith also played well, scoring 13 and playing solid defense. As for why I follow Silsbee, I have been broadcasting all of Silsbee athletics (football, basketball, baseball, softball) here on this site for going on 3 years now. SETXsports has a contract with SISD and I get paid to broadcast these games. Pretty natural fit in that I am a Silsbee alum, former athlete and still reside in Silsbee. My family is all about Silsbeee Tiger athletics (still have a son at SHS, other son graduated in '10). I agree. But the only real thing the HF PG did Friday night was put Silsbee at the free throw line. ;) I have no doubt that the Hunter kid will be a good one, in due time. But, after he picked up a few fouls and turned it over 4 or 5 times, he got frustrated and really was no factor in the game. However, Smith and Martin really played well for HF.

Busby will be back in 3 weeks. Lane is expected to play this Tuesday night. Also, Jarrian Rhone, who missed last night's game, will be back as well. Rhone flew to New Mexico yesterday on a football recruiting trip.

I have 5 tickets as well. Going to the Houston Rocket game tonight, will not be using my Lamar tickets.
