I thought Kevin Smith showed promise in last's years spring game and thought he would have been the better option for the inaugural season. That said, Bevil had some really good games early but faded during the season. Lamar probably only needs 4 Qb's with only about 80 kids on the roster. I assume that Prewitt, Johnson & Smith would make up three of those. I don't want to harang Whitten. We may find out that once the O-line improves and he has more weapons, that the offense will indeed flourish.
prewitt, bevil and johnson better bulk up they plan on running the option..aint hi school no more...smith's the only one over 180#..we may need 6 qbs they run em too much! Tatum is big, but i think his futere as a qb is all but gone if I was dim whitten, I wouldnt have bought a house..........
I don't know where you are getting your numbers but Jeremy Johnson does not weigh less than 180. JJ is officially 188lbs., according to him personally.

These are the current (and accurate) standings: 19-4A Team W L Crosby 9 3 Houston North Forest 9 3 Houston C.E. King 8 4 Galena Park 8 4 Baytown Lee 5 7 Barbers Hill 5 7 Goose Creek Memorial 4 8 Dayton 0 12
So they are set. The last 2 games will only determine seeding if anything.
Correct. Crosby, North Forest, CE King and Galena Park have all clinched. Only thing remains is the seeding.
WOW! HF really took a Anderson Silva kick to the behind in this game! What happen to that team that played Silsbee so close the last time?
That same HF team showed up, it was just a much different Silsbee team this time around. ;) ;D

Who gets the 3rd & 4th spot in 20-4

This Friday's game between Vidor and PNG is virtually a playoff game. If Vidor can win that game coupled with a Livingston win over LCM, that would make the Vidor/Livingston game on Tuesday a play-in game, as long as PNG were to lose to Central that same night. -
I think the standing are still CH with 2 losses which puts them in 1st by themselves, Woodville with 3 losses, and Woden with 4 losses. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, I believe with 2 games left. Aggies are We, you seem to have got alot of enjoyment out of them getting beat?!
No, not really. Has nothing to do with CH. I was just taking a little light hearted jab at you. ;D -
They had to been resting their starters!
For the purpose of what? ::) -
Thought that it would be unlikely for us to have a warm-up gme against a 4A team? Off topic, but what weekend is the state tournament?
I thought so as well considering that 4A does not get a bye. But it is in the works. State tourney in March 10-12.

Starting to hear some rumblings of some potential match ups for some playoff previews. Will get more details after this Friday night's games. One potential matchup would be a rematch of the Nederland tourney championship game, Silsbee vs. Galveston Ball. This very well may happen, it's in the works. ;) If anyone has any info on some warm up game matchups, please post.

Actually, Galveston Ball is not #1. Dallas Kimball has been #1 the last 4 weeks.
