But, even by going with those numbers as of 2010, those numbers still do not add up to what the 527 wins that you posted earlier. If indeed HD has 521 wins thru 2010, with their record being 4-6 last year, that would only give them 525 wins. I'll go with the fact that HD has 518 wins thru 2011 like Texas Football website has and the knowledge that you simply do not know. ::)

Silsbee High school will be hosting it's 7th annual summer tourney, July 20th and 21st, Friday and Saturday. This is the 7th consecutive year for Silsbee High school basketball boosters and coaching staff to host what many believe to be the best local high school summer tourney of the season. Beaumont Central is the defending champion. Host Silsbee has won 3 of the past 6 tourneys. Anyone interested in entering their high school summer team can contact Coach Ira Brooks @ 791-1966. More details of teams, pools, game times will be posted at a later date. Come enjoy the last hooray of high school summer league basketball at it's finest!!

It's an ok mag. Were several inaccuracies the first two years, hopefully they have those things taken care of before print. Was mostly a DFW mag.

The football previews have had it's own forum since the start of SETXsports. The previews are in the best place for this site. It seems only a couple of members are having problems with finding the previews. I suggest you broaden your interest and enhance your navigation skills. ;)

Yes the 21-3A district champ would see Yates in the 3rd round (quarterfinals) and the 21-3A 3rd place would see Yates in the 2nd round (Area). But let's not forget about who the 21-3A runner up would face earlier on in the playoffs. Houston Jones, another HISD 4A team that dropped down and who made the Region III 4A finals last season (lost to Yates), would meet the 21-3A runner up in the 3rd round (Quarterfinals). Houston Jones is in the same district as Yates along with all the other HISD schools who dropped down to 3A. Point being, there are lot's of teams to be concerned about regardless of how you finish in district.

Down to just East Chambers. Evadale has filled their head coach position with Lumberton assistant Keith Talbert. Hardin-Jefferson assistant Clay Davis has turned down the EC job, will be staying at HJ.
