I stated that those were unnecessary as well. Point is, you even have HJ fans calling you "classless" and stating "it's people like nash that makes it hard for folks to like HJ". I'll be the first to admit that Silsbee has some fans that give us a bad name. I just think (and others as well) that you are falling into the same catagory for HJ.

My whole arguement was starting a new thread calling out the individual. It was totally unnecessary. HFmom kept the talk within the original thread. She didn't start a thread calling out the naysayers like you did, nash. I don't have a problem with what she posted and I would not have had a problem had you kept it within the original prediction threads. I think starting another thread calling out a certain individual is not right. My opinion.

Could be, with a little work Did Silsbee overlook the Longhorns?  Maybe ;) Is Silsbee not as good as they say and think they are??  Good enought to beat HJ ;)

[/quote] If you would read closely, I started by using the word "May", as in giving my opinion on it but not really knowing for certain. That's why I asked for coaches to comment on the subject.

May have to do with late game scenarios where you want to make sure you communicate timeouts and play calling. Also, I would think that not having the opposing bench at the end of the court where you are shooting important free throws my be a part of it too. Who really knows? I would like for some coaches to comment on this as well.

You just added 2 more days during the week that coaches, admins, school workers, buses and facilities have to be used. That only leaves Wed. off. Some teams need their subvarsity teams for practice and that would only leave Wed. for a complete practice. Plus, all subvarsity coaches help with varsity. This would put them having to be at 4 games during the week. When would they be able to practice their subvarsity teams? Not going to happen. See what you get for not taking the time to think it through. ;) ;D
