Well, as far as oldest, that would be Jasper/Silsbee. They started playing each other in 1922. But, Ned/PNG have played more games against each other. This year wiil be the 86th meeting between the two Mid county schools. Silsbee/Jasper will be playing their 72nd contest between the two.

If you throw the Gilmer game out, then you have to throw the Hamshire-Fannett game out. As good as Gilmer is, HF is equally as bad. HF will not win a game this year.

Because Dayton would smash lumberton and I think central has played better competition and played admirably. This is just my poll meant to get the juices flowing before the "10" from the triangle ignore all logic and vote State-Finalist Dayton 5th place in the big school poll simple because they live close to BH-89. Wow, a little touch of sour grapes here. Wins over a very weak 19-4A isn't a whole lot to beat your chest about. BTW, that State-Finalist was last year, this poll is THIS YEAR.

What, maybe 5 passes all night, no wide open offenses at all, defensive struggle if you ask me. By the sounds of the two announcing, they were about to fall asleep. BTW, Thriller died recently.

In regards to the noisemakers, UIL outlawed all noisemakers at games starting this year. The noisemakers should not have even been allowed into the stadium. Go to the UIL website, it explains clearly what cannot be brought into stadiums. Personally, I hate this new rule.
