He is the head coach, btw.
Thanks for letting me know he is the head coach. I guess, in all my naivete, I didnt realize that. Just posting an opinion, to which I believe I am entitled. As for being naive, give me time. I'll will keep reading on here and learning. Who knows, perhaps the day will come when the enlightened will not consider me as naive.
I personally don't consider you naive. You know exactly what you are talking about, meant every word.

Especially one with as much emotion as Williams.
Totally agree!!!!

The Hawks came to play but I believe our depth finally wore them out. DC is very good and a lot of the plays he makes don't show up in the statistics. We hit our FTs down the stretch while the Hawks didn't. Gus proved how good a PG he is. He seemed to find the open man at will. When we made our run in the fourth, he was the only Hawk who seemed to handle the pressure. Bosha is gonna be a thorn in the Tigers side for quite a while. I thought rebounding in the first half was big for the Hawks as well. And when we would start a little run in the first half HJ would end it with a big shot. One of those being a LONG rang 3 by Bosha. Everything you could expect from this rivalry.
Just wondering if those "Silsbee is a 20-30 point better team" disciples still adhere to that contention.
Just goes to show you can win with talent even when your main leader is missing in action. ;D
Hmmmm Not aware of any missing personel for either team
I would say Silsbee not having Travis on the bench qualifies as missing personel. ;) Also. Silsbee was missing Rhone, a key backup, who was gone on a football recruiting trip. HJ still missing Anderson.
Yeah but DC lead his team to the victory!!! Sweeter! ;D
Yeah but Prudhomme gets to come back next year with 3 out of 5 starters with him!!!! ;) ;)
We already talking about next year?? Is Kerry Cooper on this thread?

Score by quarters 1 2 3 4 tot HJ 15 14 17 10 56 Silsbee 9 14 17 24 64 The 4th quarter was Silsbee's!! They opened the quarter on a 13-0 run, turning a 6 point deficit, 46-40, to a 7 point lead, 53-46. They extended the run to 20-4, getting a 10 point lead with 2:30 minutes left, 60-50. Both teams basically traded baskets the remaining 2 minutes. Yes LAZEEK, DC is very, very good!! He scored 17 of his 21 points in the 2nd half, scoring 10 in the 4th, to lead the Tigers to victory. Prudhomme led HJ with 22. I wasn't too far off on my prediction. I had Silsbee winning 66-53, final was 64-56.

First, I would like to personally apologize to everyone for the difficulties we had with the broadcast tonight. One of the biggest games of the year and we definitely turned the ball over several times early on. After it was a no-go for KFDM on the video broadcast (I am feeling your dissappointment Lance, but it was not your fault, these dang computers!!!), we had to scramble to get the normal audio link up to do an audio broadcast. After several failed attempts to get the proper link up, we finally made it on air with about 2 minutes left in the first half. It just wasn't a good night in the broadcasting department, sometimes you have these nights. Again, I apologize for the inconvience and for missing the first half of the game. Hopefully we will produce a much better broadcast the 2nd time around.
