  1. Brazosport only had 3 seniors last year with Rosso being the main player. Ortiz was the only other senior who played, he was a starter. Brazosport returns 3 starters along with 4 others who played significant minutes in championship game.
  2. The center was just a junior. He is back.
  3. Like I said, Yates by 30
  4. Just shows how unbelievably talented last years Silsbee team was. The previous 5 players mentioned along with 3 players (D. McCain, Adams, Bush) who are likely to play basketball at next level and Barnes who just signed with Baylor for football/track along with Landyn Tyler who I think will end up playing college ball, then that's 10 players on last year's team that are/will play at next level. You won't find many teams, let alone a 4A team, with that kind of talent. Last year's team was definitely loaded.
  5. Kingwood at North Shore* PA Memorial at Bmt. Central* Central Heights at Woodville* Buna at East Chambers* Woden at San Augustine* Cleveland at Coldspring Huntington at Huffman LC-M at Hardin-Jefferson Shepherd at Leggett Silsbee at The Woodlands Center at Lufkin Pineywoods Winners in bold from these match ups from last night.
  6. We are needing these following scores/results from Tuesday night, Jan. 2: Apple Springs at Groveton, 12:00 pm Goodrich at Hull-Daisetta, 7:30 pm Need these following scores/results from Friday night, Jan 5: Hull-Daisetta at Groveton, 3:00 pm Mt. Enterprise at West Sabine, 6:30 pm Raven School at Goodrich, 7:30 pm
  7. How about we remember who Silsbee lost to graduation? 5 players who are playing college ball. Willie Jones - QB at Texas State Calvin Tyler - RB at Oregon State Michael McCain - Safety at SFA Bruce Newton - CB at Louisiana College Trejan Harris - guard at North Platte Nebraska That's a ton of talent gone off a 4A team. All 5 are missed very much. This current team is very good and can still accomplish their main goal. But it will not be as easy as it was last year. Silsbee will have to play harder and smarter than they did last year. Gone are the days of cruising to wins over good teams. Unlike last year's team, this team needs to "stay in it's lane". Good thing now, there is only one lane left in the season.
  8. My comprehension is fine. I know exactly when and who Silsbee plays next. You on the other hand didn't. That's why I said you would be disappointed on FRIDAY. and you have a son on the team.
  9. Oh, and kudos to TxHoops, kingjames and BlkMamba for trying to talk to a wall.
  10. What's the confusion? You really don't know how to read a schedule or calendar? Grad goes to great lengths putting together weekly and yearly schedules for all to see on this site. Yet you can't seem to comprehend them.
  11. You are going to be very disappointed Friday.
  12. 2A Broaddus wins over 2A Mt Enterprise 89-43

  14. See, a little bit of effort and you can answer your own questions. So easy, even.............
  15. Nope. That's what I got off their roster that's posted online. [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content]
  16. Not sure but the two do have common opponents. Cy Springs and Klein Collins The Woodlands lost to Cy Springs 55-51. Silsbee beat Cy Springs 71-61 The Woodlands lost to Klein Collins 52-51. Silsbee beat Klein Collins 72-67. I make Silsbee a 5 point favorite at The Woodlands.
  17. I have posted many picks on many games in several of our forums. Have posted my bets as well. Just ask TxHoops. Keep up. The "not losing to anyone" is a comment to be called on. Had it simply been "OU doesn't lose this game" probably doesn't get a response.
  18. I would add Warren to the mix for 4th. I have seen all three play (Hardin, Kirbyville, Warren). Those three are pretty even. I give Kirbyville a very very slight edge.
  19. 11 players '6"2 or taller with 4 at '6"5, a '6"6 and a '6"9.
