Joubert decided it wasn't best for his current team to play that many games in a three day period. 6 games in three days with just basically 6 players would be tough. He told me what tourney he was playing this week but I cannot remember.

Cleveland game Kountze had foul trouble. 2 players fouled out. Same with Huntington. The games I saw EC play they rotated 9. EC has way more depth than Kountze.

Orangefield is not a bad team. A bit of a match up problem for EC. Kountze should not have lost to Huntington.

EC did not lose to Orangefield. EC is undefeated on the season. Beat WO-S in finals of Evadale tourney by 30

I have seen Buna, EC and Kountze play this year. IMO, EC is the best team. Kountze will get better when Edwards returns but still don't see them beating EC. Buna will be 3rd

I don't think you know who kingjames is. If you did, you wouldn't be saying things like this about him.

The YMBL moved the tournament up a week several years ago than what it used to be, 2nd weekend. Nederland tourney had always been the week before YMBL. Central, Ozen, Lincoln and West Brook always played in the Nederland tourney, winning it many times. HJ and Silsbee had always played in Nederland tourney as well. But BISD wanted to combine the girls and boys for YMBL and moved up a week, clashing with Nederland tourney. IMO, if anyone should have to move tourney date, it should be YMBL. Oh, and Nederland tourney this year might have been down as far as good teams, but they had way more local teams than YMBL. I attended both tourneys and Nederland tourney drew more fans than YMBL.

Then use the other local chapter. That chapter that BISD uses is very small now. Several of those officials left to join the larger local chapter. Pool play is the way to go. Glad they took my advice finally and went with that format. Now they need more than just 3 local teams playing in to draw bigger crowds.

Plays just 6, had 8 suited out. Best player in Edwards along with another player is still out with injuries.
