3 should be Crosby wouldn't you think?

I have heard that it is likely all 3 of those will miss this week as well. Along with 2 major contributing defensive players. 

If head coaches are watching these boards daily for info on the teams they will play each week then their focus is not in the right place.

I know coaches that watch these boards for information that people put out. So you're actually wrong coaching staffs do very much pay attention to free information. 

I do not think any setsports.com coverage area coaching staffs wait each week to read setxsports posts to get info to help game planning.

Lady Hawks did lose a great assistant coach in Omar Snead. He is now on the Lamar Women's basketball staff.

Funny how BH can do no wrong. You won a hard battled game and then you say it was wrong for Crosby to do what they did last year but it’s ok for your team to do it to them only because it’s in return. How about lead by example if you want to preach how classy you are compared to others. I see a coach not touching any players but yelling at them to get back as they are surrounding him and I see #10 shaking players hands like a man until one player comes over laughing in his face and hits helmet to helmet with him talking trash. Then he pushes him and the rest gang up on him. You can say what you want but I slowed it down to look at all the stuff you said you thought happen but the film doesn’t lie. 

I really think we’re giving Hill to much credit for the success at WR against Crosby.  Every play that Herndon scored on was a corner blitz with the safety cheating over. WR 6’3 corner 5’11  its a no brainer once the CB stayed home it was a wrap. They caught CHS DC off guard  by having some talent at that position. TC watched the film and shut that ish down. 

Y'all have had three state championship coaches to FB Marshall's 0 the last 15 years. If it was all about athletes Katy would never win state titles. Yet, y'all are still willing to pay the premium for first round losses. You want to talk about bad coaching, y'all almost lost to Dayton last year. I don't have to say anything about him. Everybody watching him stand on the sideline says all it needs to. I bet Abseck will play him against Crosby though. If you need verification for what I'm saying that Steven Avery guy probably knows who his mom is, tell him to go ask her. 

Dude, you barely know anything about your own program. I have dudes sitting in my hallway at work I show your post to that think you're an idiot. I don't resent Abseck and I couldn't care less about the outcome of BH's season. I have several buddies with sons on the team and in the program so for their sake I want them to see their kids having a good time just like I do my sons. 
Backing into the playoffs in 4th place and winning one game isn't more than Westerberg did when he got BH to the third round at Reliant. Abseck went .500 with the most talented team BH has ever had. Now y'all will be back to normal this year and probably a KP loss away from 4th place. Your o-line is suspect, your defense is still bad, your star receiver is out, you don't have plus running backs and you'll be breaking in a new QB on top of that. 
I love that we have Coach P right now but I'm not the least bit worried that if he leaves Crosby's program will take a nose dive. It's been proven from the Flannigan led squad that lost to Dawson in the third round, to the Riordan led squad that lost to Cedar Park in the semis, to the Prieto led squad that lost in the state finals that if you give us a competent guy on the sideline that our kids will produce results. Just the opposite is true in BH though. 
Reagan talks about 7 years for a coach to win a state title. Well, the last 7 years BH has had three different state title winning coaches and only has one district championship, in a year everybody else was down, to show for it.  It's been proven over the last 17 years that the only thing that can stop Crosby from getting into the dance is an inept school board and supt. 
My son turned 3 over the weekend and had his birthday party in south Dallas. My wife graduated from Dallas Skyline and all of her friends and relatives children attend school on that I-20 corridor from Oak Cliff to Duncanville. Her nephew is going to be the starting safety for Duncanville this year. When I tried to explain where Crosby was he cut me off and said, "Oh, we know about Crosby". This is after I ran into Carlos Lynn at Winners BBQ and tried to order two slabs of ribs from him while he was out to lunch with the Cedar Hill coaching staff. When I mentioned I was from Crosby he said, "Oh, y'all got something down there." So whether Prieto leaves or not, which I don't see with his son being in 8th grade, Crosby will be fine. BH on the other hand will still be trying to hire state title winning coaches just so they can beat us. 

I know you are perpetually concerned with all things Barbers Hill, but you simply don't know what you are talking about. I have not heard of one single soul "wishing for Westerberg". Not a single word from anyone. BH has totally moved on from Westerberg. Can you understand it? Why would BH be dissatisfied with Absek anyway? He took a his first year team, knocked off a undefeated Top Ten team, then was within a single play of making the 3rd round. That is an  immediate overachievement compared to his predecessor.  
I get it though, you have resented Absek since his arrival. You try to jab at him by spinning this Absek narrative up. I know the Beaumont guy here took unwarranted, ill informed shots at him too last year but that has cooled off. Why all the Absek hate? I think you are latently worried Absek will succeed more in the not so distant future as BH grows.
If I was you, I would be more concerned your coach might soon leave Crosby in the rear view mirror. Your recruits might start to leave then, too.

Is Crosby trying to recruit him or is he not completely bought in at BH? He’s also a good basketball player. Who’s to say he doesn’t want to come play for programs that are better than the ones he’s in now? Sometimes different narratives develop depending if you live east or west of 146. 
 
I don’t think there’s anything to that rumor, if there even is one, but a player like that wouldn’t be allowed to transfer to one of the better teams in the district anyway. You would have to get them pre-PAPF like BH just did with the Crosby qb. A Dixon-type transfer would be denied at the DEC level by a vote or two even if BH, Crosby, PAM and possibly La Porte all voted affirmative. 

I think Cougar is talking his book, rumor is Crosby is trying to recruit Dixon.

Is this the same coach?

Some folks have known but I will make it public. My time as a full time administrator/broadcaster is up. I told my wife of 33 years that when she retired from teaching that I would retire with her to the beach. She retired last May and I told her I would finish out the football and basketball seasons of this year then I would join her. (would have joined her in May but needed to stay on after the passing of our beloved admin WOSGrad). I am so ready to be a beach bum.
I have enjoyed these past 17 years here on the site. I have seen it grow from just a little message board to now be considered a valuable media outlet. It truly has been a labor of love.
First of all, I want to thank Jordan Wilson, the owner of this site, by inviting me on as a staff member and eventually an administrator. He trusted me with the help of running this site and allowed me to "do my thang" and start my broadcast career. It has truly been a blessing. Thanks
I want to thank Todd Broussard (WOSGrad) who is looking down on us from heaven. He has been my partner in crime for all these years and is the reason this site is what it is today. He was the man!! Well redistricting is done and so are schedules for schools. 
Some schools have posted their schedules but SETX needs all of them. Its a big job keeping up with all things high school football in Southeast Texas and with our beloved WOSGrad no longer here to keep everything straight we need all the time we can get to get things ready for 2022.
We are also looking to finalize plans for a Broadcaster Boot Camp in the early summer to see if any of you would like to become the broadcast voice of a team. We have lost some people and we are also looking to expand the teams that we cover, so keep on the lookout for further details and please help us get the schedules ASAP!
