On a completely unrelated note about church vans… when I was in high school I went to FBC Bevil Oaks.  During that time they sold our church van and got a new one.  The guy who bought the old van was supposed to remove the church name from the van, but never got around to it.  He apparently had quite the drinking problem, because people kept calling our church to report that the van was parked at Lucky Liquor.  Us high schoolers got to calling the new van “The Lucky Liquor II”, much to the fake outrage of our youth pastor.   

I know most of us don’t like watching an 8 min video, but if you have time, take the time.  Btw, this Brit, Tom Tugendhat, is no armchair politician.  He spent 10 years in the British Army and several of those in Afghanistan before getting out as a Lt Colonel.  He was decorated by the 82nd Airborne.

Since when does the Education Dept really have any power to dictate to local school districts anything??!!  Jimma carter created this in the late 70's as a payoff to school unions for their support!  This, along with the Energy Dept, also created by Jimma, should have been done away with a long time ago!  Both colossal waste of taxpayer money!
Why the mask talk and not much on the fiasco?  Because the mask part is easy.  The total fiasco in Afghanistan is to hard for the "not ready for prime time" players!  We have seen the results of their incompetency!!

The U.S. has no plans to evacuate Americans in Afghanistan who are located outside Kabul, according to a report Tuesday. 
Officials from various departments — including State and Defense — informed Senate staffers at a Tuesday morning briefing that they do not know of a way to get those Americans through Taliban checkpoints located outside Kabul, the location of the main airport, The Washington Post reported, citing two Senate aides. 
Neither the State Department nor the Defense Department immediately responded to after-hours requests for comment from Fox News.
Meanwhile, U.S. Sen. Tom Cotton’s office set up a hotline for Americans — including those who are essentially "trapped behind Taliban lines," The Military Times reported.
"The situation is dire," the Arkansas Republican said. "But we’ll do everything in our power to help keep you informed and to help get you out."
A former State Department contractor told Fox News that Taliban fighters have also established checkpoints throughout Kabul and around the airport. Some, the source said, have been beating people on the way to the airport.

This is ridiculous.  I want the best applicant to get the job.  This woman has decided that if the best applicant is black, she’s not going to hire them anyway.  It’s pure racism.  I have an equal problem with it going the other way, and better white applicants being passed over for minority candidates, but I also understand that that is a result of decades of hiring practices from those like our friend Eileen here.  The fact that people like her still exist makes it difficult to argue against preferential hiring practices for minorities, even though it’s something that I don’t necessarily agree with.  I’d love to see a society where the best applicant for a job actually gets the job on merit.  

I'm 44 years old.  I'm from east Texas.   I'm not very smart.   And I'm mean.
 
That being said.  Understand 2 things will always exist in this world, ignorance and hatred.   When people expose themselves, make note and move along.

I agree, it should be everyone’s choice, but many folks take a hard stand because they see that choice being taken away IF you want to do certain activities, some even being required to take the vaccine for their job, and not even in the medical field.
Let folks simply decide with no pressure from the top level of government that we must be vaccinated.

I lost a really good friend last week. Apparently life got real bad for him. Nobody has the answers to so many questions. Nobody knew the stress he had. Nobody can analyze the actions he took. Nobody can justify what happened. The things I wish I could've done to help. But it's too late to go back now. 
So I'll get to the point of this post...
If anyone feels like they could end it all, please seek help. Reach out to someone, anyone, even me. Tomorrow isn't promised for any of us. Live everyday like it's your last.
Sorry but I had to get this off my chest.

What is the reasoning behind bringing the troops home……of course it is to get them out of harm’s way. Now that the Taliban has conquered most of the country, we are sending troops back in. Would this not be square one? How much more danger are they in than a few months ago? Gonna need more than ground troops.
TRUMP would have never done this. He’s too much smarter.

The golden age of no accountability.  The age of “no consequences for your actions”.  The age of “it’s (society’s, schools’s, govt’s, etc., etc.)  fault - not yours.”   The age of bo prayer in schools.  The age of cursing out loud in public.  The age of neutered law enforcement.  The age of hate and rage against a country and a system that provides opportunities.  The age of “demand what your country can do for you - NOT what you can do for your country.”  Jiminy Crickets I could go on and on.  The main reason is a country who has turned it’s back on God.
