  1. My thoughts on this game. Summit just played an overall better game than BU. They played defense light years better than any other team I’ve seen BU play this year. To say that they’re undersized, they played defense light great in your face defense, their hands are active, they are always in great positions to grab rebounds. Also, on offense, they run plays for their best players. United was a stark contrast. We run NO plays except out of bounds plays. We seem to be out of position on defense a lot. We had size advantage but we never take advantage of it. Instead, we want to jack 3’s up. Tonight, they were not falling at all. I would have liked for our star players to get great looks just like that freshman from Summit. Overall, we return a lot next year. I expect ‘a certain player’ to get a LOT better so we can try to get back to the championship. Been a great ride. Look forward to another fun season next year. Again, congrats to Summit on the win!

  2. President Trump has not ensured that Iran cannot rebuild its facilities—potentially even deeper underground. He often makes statements that sound definitive but are not supported by subsequent facts. In June 2025, following Operation Midnight Hammer, President Trump stated that B-2 stealth bombers and Tomahawk cruise missiles launched from Navy submarines had destroyed Iran’s nuclear program. Eight months later, we have Operation Epic Fury, and we are again told that Iran’s capabilities have been eliminated. All that bluster, yet current events suggest otherwise. Iran continues launching drones and missiles at Israel and at American assets in the Middle East. This raises a fundamental question: was Iran’s nucler program truly neutralized, or are we once again facing a situation where Iran is rebuilding its nuclear capabilities? We hear on the news that Iran still has uranium and no one can find it. Sounds like George W. Bush and Dick Cheney looking for weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Absent regime change in Iran, the underlying dynamics will not change. At the same time, the United States is unlikely to commit ground forces, as doing so would likely entail another prolonged conflict with years of uncertainty, solider deaths, and significant cost. If you don't care about that, then go sign up your children and grandchildren first...right after Barron Trump grabs a gun and a uniform. It's easy to support President Trump when its not your child or grandchild serving. Send me photos when your child or grandchild enlists. So, after all of President Trumps marketing bluster and salesmanship, the question remains: what has materially changed in Iran? What has been accomplished? Iran is unlikely to capitulate simply because the United States takes a confrontational posture. President Trump is a bully salesman. Iran is not dropping to its knees because President Trumps says so and continues to throw a fit. Meanwhile, the United States faces significant domestic challenges. The national debt continues to rise, the cost of groceries and fuel has increased, the American education system is in shambles, infrastructure requires substantial investment, no one can afford health insurance, and the country remains polarized along political, racial, religious, and socioeconomic lines. Remember when Republicans cared about those things? Me either. Instead, let's bomb other countries, assassinate others we don't like, spend until the printing press breaks, don't worry about the sh-tshow inside our own borders, and let's tell everyone that we are producing the Epstien files, but while you're at it, fire off another bomb in Iran. One more thing, keep all of those brown people in Mexico, Guatemala, Venezuela, or wherever the hell they're from. Let the good looking women in, grab'em in the p--y, and Make America Great Again.

  17. From the article: "U.S. forces took out military targets on Iran’s Kharg Island, but left in place its oil infrastructure, President Donald Trump said on March 13. The assault came 14 days into Operation Epic Fury, marking the first time the island—Tehran’s most vital economic asset—has been targeted in the U.S.-Israeli campaign. The eight-square-mile island 16 miles from Iran’s Persian Gulf coast is where 90 percent of the oil it exports is pumped from terminals into supertankers—up to 10 at a time—300 miles north of the Hormuz Strait. Most is shipped to Asia, with China the biggest destination. Trump warned that should Iran continue to threaten shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, he would “immediately reconsider” his decision not to bomb the island’s oil assets. “The United States Central Command executed one of the most powerful bombing raids in the History of the Middle East, and totally obliterated every MILITARY target in Iran’s crown jewel, Kharg Island,” Trump said in a March 13 Truth Social post. “I have chosen NOT to wipe out the Oil Infrastructure on the Island. However, should Iran, or anyone else, do anything to interfere with the Free and Safe Passage of Ships through the Strait of Hormuz, I will immediately reconsider this decision.”" [Hidden Content]

  19. Wrong. Iran wanted nukes so they could eliminate Israel. It’s not rocket science. As for being armed….my friend in Evadale and I could thwart an Iranian invasion, except that they are cowardly back fighters. I liked that the shooter at Old Dominion was killed by unarmed students. I believe they beat him to death.

  24. Trump is literally begging for help this morning from the same exact countries that he’s been tariff-ing the pants off of. France? He wants France to send help? China? Excuse me… “CHI-NUH.” I bet they put his fat butt on speaker so the whole room could laugh. Trump said “we have already destroyed 100% of Iran’s military capability,” then in the very next sentence said “it’s easy for them to send a drone or two, drop a mine, or deliver a close range missile somewhere in, or along, this waterway.” Which is it, Fat Boy? Are they 100% destroyed or do they still have the ability to shut down 20% of the world’s oil supply? This happened because maga didn’t send him back to Florida for putting out his election denying lies and attempted insurrection. He literally believe things that are not true. The secretary of the Treasury will be fired shortly, I’m afraid, because he released data yesterday that shows very clearly that we’re not in “the best economy in the history of rhe world. Nobody has ever seen anything like it.” And after shuttering the newly renovated and renamed “trunp Kennedy center,” today he fired the handpicked leader of that org. Since that’s a priority. My guess is that the center will be razed before July 4th for a rebuild, aka the Ballroom. Everybody but MAGA is tired of it.

  27. Not the same event obviously but we played at TABC showcase this past summer. It was similar we led most of early game and then they made a run late and won a close game. They are very good. Honestly when you are talking about most of 3A top 10 anyone can beat anyone on anyday as just kind of depends on lots of matchup factors and shooting. Paradise is great at what they do, I wasn’t good enough of a coach to find out this year. Well earned championship for them.

  28. Personally, I think it would be similar to the Westwood game with the exception of Onalaska making the needed adjustments. I don't think they get dominated in the paint like Westwood did. But, teams that thrive on the three ball normally don't do well at the Alamodome. Onalaska likes the three ball. Would just depend on if they are hitting the three.

Obama and his ilk follow the liberal mantra of believing you should “legislate from the bench”, which is EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE of Marbury vs Madison and the Constitution. That’s why—IMHO—liberals are having such a hard time with the current SCOTUS. They got used to decades of the courts doing their dirty work. What they miss is, the current Chief Justice is one of the biggest offenders of Marbury vs Madison. While he preaches “judicial restraint”, he created the legal justification for Obamacare out of whole cloth & bailing wire.

SCOTUS is there to serve the Constitution, and the people that fall under it's law. It's not there--as some would believe--for judicial review as you're defining like a power grab. Marbury vs. Madison basically established that the Constitution is the supreme law of the land, and SCOTUS HAS to follow it. Whether they think they know better or not. Instead of thinking of SCOTUS as being the arbiter of law, think of SCOTUS as HAVING to use the Constitution as originally intended to verify legality of an existing or proposed law. In other words, think of SCOTUS as SERVANTS of the Constitution. They don't exist to create law. The Constitution's basic function is to protect minorities from the majority opinions of the moment. That's the whole reason we have Separation of Powers, State's Rights/Federalism, limited Enumerated Powers, the Bill of Rights, and the 9th and 10th Amendments. If the Constitution is interpreted as a 'living document' as you and most liberals believe, that means--by definition--it would change with the whims of the majority opinion of the day. It wouldn't be performing it's fundamental purpose of protecting the minority. If the Constitution was easy to amend, it wouldn't provide the protections that were intended. The Constitution is purposefully vague in many areas. That's the beauty of it. Our Founder's desired less laws, more freedom, and a minimal Federal government. NOTE: These are my personal opinions. Everyone has the right--and I'd say duty--to try to find fault. That's the only way to understand your freedoms better.

  41. Well, he didn’t stammer when he said that prices would come down on day one, but they’re still going up. And let’s not forget his pledge to repeal and replace Obamacare…. He’s had 5 years, 1 month, and 21 days. Plenty of time to do something, but he’s too busy filing frivolous lawsuits on his own behalf in jurisdictions all over the country. But nobody has a problem with him doing THAT instead of his job.

  42. It’s a joke but really what ever happened to the tariff check Trump promised? They must be locked up with the gold we didn’t get to see at Fort Knox. I am going to keep giving Trump a hard time till he follows through on a multitude of promises. Sorry if that bothers you. If a Democrat was not following through with their promises I’d be giving them the same treatment. I distribute it equally. KTAA - Keep Trump Accountable Again!

“As intended” means exactly what it says. The original intent. Otherwise known as originalism. Any other type of interpretation is nothing more than an attempt to change the Constitution because you don’t like what it says and means. The Constitution doesn’t change with the times, and was never meant to do so. As you say, the framers were thoughtful. They thought of a way to adapt the Constitution to new situations. The manner is done by the same method as was used to create the Constitution. “By the people” through Amendments.

  47. Congrats!!! Recruiters were all over the place the last 2 weeks in SETX. BC and PAM looked like a revolving door with college coaches. Looks like the BC just picked up his 25th offer(?) and a couple of the PAM kids picked up quite a few too ( not sure on the number). I've lost track but SETX is loaded with talent. It's awesome to see the kids in this area getting the attention they deserve.
