I personally don’t believe there are 2 political parties. I believe there is a Uniparty in charge that plays both sides. Now I vote with Republicans because the other option doesn’t even come close to lining up with my beliefs but let’s remember that the Republicans are a political party not a conservative organization which some people forget. I am a Trump supporter not a Trump cult member. If Trump is wrong on certain issues I will say so. All I know is this country is at a tipping point and not for the good. I hope some substantive legislation can get passed to right the ship.

At this point from what I’ve read in the past I believe our government is nothing more than a money laundering organization. The treasury and pentagon could not even past an audit because they could not tell us where trillions of dollars went.

Aggie, I understand what you are saying. I looked up the monthly amount spent on SNAP and it said around $8 billion. Percentage of Afghanis on SNAP is 45%. Both of these stats proved out. Since it’s “illegal” for illegals to receive SNAP, the percentage is zero. However, I think we all know that does not stop them from receiving benefits that they shouldn’t. I mean it’s against the law (if we’re playing that UT alum game) for them to even cross the border, yet here they are by the millions. With the internet today, it’s difficult to know what to believe, just like Obama predicted.

I don’t disagree with you but if the source bothers you then do some research and enlighten us all. This is an opinion platform. Whatever is posted is a good starting point for an individual to do their own research if they are curious enough to know if it is true. Left or Right everyone should do their own verification.

There are thousands of Chinese nationals who are paying surrogate American mothers to have their children for access to benefits. That's one of the reasons why I (as a conservative libertarian, for lack of a better definition) have always been against the Libertarian Party position of open borders unless we do away with the welfare state first. I actually see 4 members that maybe are implying some kind of intent. 13 different members (not counting me) commented on this thread. I think for the most part folks know there was no intent. Pure reckless behavior which in some cases bring criminal charges. Kid was being stupid but like I said, that may not absolve him from some kind of fault and maybe a criminal charge. There has been many situations that have criminal negligence. I don't think any charges will be filed. Prayers for all that are involved.

Read on another site... shooting a video with obvious loaded gun (stupid and immature to say the least) gun went off, shot through a wall and hit young man in the neck. No slap on the wrist should be given, some of these comments thinking it was intentional or "death row" played a factor are ignorant as can be!! If this was anywhere else a different tune would be played.. there's my 2 cents
