Head coach Clay Davis has resigned as head basketball coach at Hardin-Jefferson. Clay will be taking an Assistant Principle position at Splendora ISD so he will be leaving the coaching profession. Clay's wife has been working for Splendora ISD the last two years, commuting back and forth. Totally understand Coach Davis move here. This will be a very interesting hire. Don't expect a promotion. Will definitely be an outside hire. History rich program to a very good school district. Definitely will draw some interest. Good luck Coach on your new job. Hawk Basketball and gym just won't be the same without you. 20 years at HJ. I will miss our talks and watching you coach the game. Even if he is convicted of every count, he won't go to jail (imagine if they do try to put him in jail with the no bail program they have in place even letting violent offenders go) - and he is 100% on the ballot. He will appeal and this will be last trial before election.

Yes, but no… the Dems are no doubt using the court system, but not like you think. They WANTED Trump in the race. Every time they indicted him, more Rs got behind him. They are well aware that ANY Republican candidate would walk right over Biden… except Trump. This hasn’t been about destroying Trump, it’s about solidifying his support, eventual nomination, and inevitable defeat in November. FWIW, it also strengthens the resolve of the “anybody but Trump” voters to vote democrat.

I have been told that head coach Randall Robertson has been reassigned. Very curious as to what happened here. Coach Robertson has done very well as head coach. 2nd place finish in district last year which is the highest finish for the Cards in several decades.
