News flash, not everything is racist. Bad officials and bad calls, yes. Last I checked Lindale has a very diverse team and some of the refs were black... I’m not buying for a second that racism had anything to do with it and they should be ashamed of themselves for even bringing it up.

Very impressive win by Crosby...I hope TH doesn't get downplayed because Crosby took them to the woodshed...Crosby just beat a really good team and made a solid defense look a JV team...should be an interesting game with Huntsville...good luck the rest of the way....

It’s funny that you said that. With the issues WB had in defense this year, I’ve heard from a few WB people that some good defensive players were on the bench for whatever reason...

Good game Crosby- Offense took it to the house but I would give the game ball to the defensive line for literally gassing TH's giant offensive line that was impressive.

I think I was impressed with how BU played defense more than anything. Not a lot of teams can handle that. You take the ball to the rim, there's most always 3 or 4 long arms that can jump to meet you. Nothing comes easy. We had two 6`3s and a 6`4 kid that sat on the bench most the game. Wish we had at least tried to match them in size under the boards. Good news for Silsbee is they won't see another team with even half the talent BU has for the rest of the season. I can easily see United winning state this year and next year. It's a good learning experience for our young kids. Just keep working.

I certainly have no clue on the ins and outs of the WB football program, but I can’t help but agree with this guy. Multiple turnovers will get you beat every time, regardless of who the coach is. It always seems that no matter what happened in the game, the losing teams’ coach is ALWAYS to blame; never ceases to amaze me.

BU's David Green is a defensive minded coach. He knows how to squeeze an opportunity with good defense. He used that strategy when he went to state out of Fort Bend. That team he won state with at North Shore was a good defensive team. So it is no surprise to me that BU is a good defensive team as well. Still gotta play the games. BU very well could take state in 5A. I would love to see BU play FFA. Ik, FFA is technically 4A, but still, that would be a good game to see.

After watching both teams today I don’t think it would be close. I think Carthage would beat them by at lease 21 if not more.

Remember going a round or two with some Ennis folks on one of the state forums during the 2000 season. Some exchanges got a little frisky. This banter went on all season ending with Ennis victory in the championship. Had to go back to my great great grandmother's crow recipe after that one.

That is correct. Coach Davis at HJ advised us earlier this week that the venue had changed due to boys and girls varsities playing at each others' venues instead of all at one venue. I just hadn't gotten to the schedules to reflect that.

My 3 kids ranging from 18 to 29 don’t know what measles, mumps, rubella, chicken pox, polio, etc. are. They were vaccinated throughout their childhood. I never thought twice about it. They got a vaccine and prospered because of it. No autism or any other calamity because of it as far as I know (although my 18 yr old makes me question whether or not he is a special needs child on occasion - I think he may be just like his dad at that age). I don’t have an issue if someone doesn’t want the China Virus vaccine, but I will probably take it if available at some point. As far as a mask - it shouldn’t be mandated. Wear one if you want to. Don’t wear one if you don’t want to.
