Lufkin won 42-14 @ Nacogdoches 2nd game of the year in non-district, then the Dragons went on to be 6-1 before they were beat in district. They are a young team that has some raw talent. No match at all for PNG in the first round, then again it's the first time NAC has made the playoffs since 2021 and they were picked in pre-season to finish 6th in a very tough district. So there are two positives for their program before this game is even played. Baby step for them trying to build something.

Friend said when in trouble Nacogdoches QB will quick release a deep arch pass & just lets his WR run under it. If he beats us deep that may be the Dragons best play. Pass defense needs to step up if we cannot get to QB before he releases the ball. Need to get the QB to moving in the pocket so that Indian Defense can take him down, or disrupt his rhythm. Completely understand that. The district has not done well at making our school appealing at all. I will say that if a coach can win here, and that doesn’t have to mean playoffs every year, he will have the community behind him. We have a strong fan base out here.

The market picks up 20-25 million new customers, that means more income thus higher income for well run companies. Where’s the outrage over Big Pharma, companies like Boeing, Grumman, Raytheon, or the Silicon Valley giants et cetera ad nauseum. Lobby and campaign finance reform is what’s needed.

Most coaches will not seek to be in an environment where they are not valued by the community. If they are not paid well and have the worst resources it lets a potential coach know where the district values lie.
