Heck the Washington Monument was built to honor him! Why should he have show up for a subpoena? 😂 -

Selective? Clinton has always been at the top of “the list”. - Today

Loved playing for Coach Griff. Treated everyone the same whether you were a D-1 prospect or a benchwarmer. Glad to see that a lot of LCM baseball royalty showed up for his ceremony.

I’m no fan of Clinton, but I’m not a fan of selective targeting either. -
He's probably not going anywhere unless he decides to leave. He's in good with the right people.
-
When you folks run off the current coach you should target the little coaches for his replacement or at least get someone out of the stands to personnel the team for the new HC.
-
Probably would have lost to Newton either way. Good chance we'd have won at least 2 more with some personnel adjustments in the defensive front though. Edgewood was definitely a winnable game.

Own enough. Have used more. The 2nd protects the 1st. As far as the original OP, I question whether the State Law itself is actually legal. I could care less about buy backs one way or the other. But, not sure the State should have the ability to ban them from a local authority. They are voluntary by both directly involved parties. If my right to own shouldn’t be infringed, why should my right to sell? Is an FFL involved at these buy backs?

Sounds like someone is not interested in the truth if it does not harm Trump -
Just going to drop this down again right here. I think I've read where 1992 and the Rodney King/LA riots were the last time it was used.

@No-look1 We could end up d2 if 2 of the 3 make playoffs... Academy, Rockdale, and Cameron. Academy should be a playoff team. Franklin, Thrall, and Academy should take the top 3 spots. It will come down to Rogers, Rockdale, and maybe Cameron for the 4th spot. Lexington QB that is going d1 could take a game from someone if he is on and the team he is playing is not. As of right now I would put Rogers in that 4th spot because of the run they had in the playoff. But baseball is a funny game and anyone can win on any given night. Huntington should be good once again and will most of region 3. 3A baseball pound for pound is the best in the State. 3A plays some really good baseball.

You’re being myopic on the ‘what rights you or I would lose'. That’s a very limited view of something being unconstitutional. I think we are in agreement about so-called sanctuary jurisdictions being an issue. I also don’t know all of the laws in every single sanctuary jurisdiction. I did find the below link. Interesting angle I hadn’t considered on the ‘harboring.’ I think most of the cases I’ve read about have involved forced/coerced cooperation with the Feds—which has been found to violate the 10th. As a State’s Rights federalism type person, I agree with these so far. But, I do think the Feds should be able to withhold certain funds. I don’t think I’ve heard of a case involving harboring yet. But, I may have missed it. Anyway…interesting read. Let me know your thoughts on this angle. Seems to be a legitimate argument. NOTE: I'm not specifically speaking about the Houston/Harris County issue with this link. Although, it could apply by knowingly rendering material aid. Apply this logical legal argument in a broad sense to an unspecified sanctuary locale policy/law for the intent of finding a way to end sanctuary policies. [Hidden Content]

Okay. So now your discussion of what rights you would lose is, maybe some skilled attorney can figure it out. I will accept that as, you don’t have an answer. I am against any illegal immigration. If I had the ability, I would stop every single person from crossing the border without permission from the federal government. I am just not sure of how Houston or Harris County unconstitutionally using tax money harms me or you.

Reagan, have you researched Talarico? Yes, he is a Democrat and a Texas State House Rep. for District 50, which includes North Austin and the Pflugerville area. He is a former schoolteacher. He is not a firebrand politician. So far, he has been campaigning to the Democratic moderates, independents, and center-slightly right Republicans. Talarico is currently leading Crockett in the March primary. It will be worth watching to see whether Talarico wins and, if so, how he performs against the eventual Cornyn/Paxton/Hunt nominee over the summer and next fall.
