He can’t sit still when news cycle isn’t focused on him… I think he’ll do his dead-level best to make sure that the he’s the focal point of the whole process. I expect him to do things that are unheard of in US politics as we move closer to the election.

I don't see him staying out of it, either. I hope he does, though. A Trump endorsement isn't worth near what it was a year or two ago, and may very well be worth even less in another few years.

I don't think splitting it was ever really a serious consideration, but looking forward to seeing who we bring in and what the future holds. I know about as much as the rest of you about the process.

You would need to ask him if he gets the job. All I can tell you right now is that he is a high caliber candidate with a plan and will be bringing quality assistants with him. Tarkington will be lucky to get him if he is chosen.

I’ve heard one has ties to the area, could be a factor idk for sure. The area is attractive especially for families. Also incoming classes are larger than this current class. Could be good for development, that is if admin gives them the chance to build.
