I agree, La Porte is so unique surrounded by Houston industry and neighborhoods, but it still has that small town feel. I would like to see a game if its on Saturday--since i will be reffing Friday- but want to get back for some Saturday games. I try to record college games and blast through the commercials;

I believe this game is scheduled for Friday, November 7 - please double check but according to LISD website its' on Friday.

Your larger schools that are in multi school districts share a stadium and will play on either Thursday or Saturday depending on the number of teams that are scheduled for that week. Yes, there are an alarming number of smaller schools, that have no reason to play on anything other than Friday's, having to play on Thursday due to the shortage. Thursday's are still better than Saturday's in my opinion.

Kingwood Park has just three Friday night games on their 10 game regular season schedule. Goose Creek Memorial, Kingwood, Fort Bend Kempner and Hardin play half their games on non Friday nights. 70 games total in our coverage area that will not be played on Friday nights. I am going to say that is the most we have ever had here in our coverage area.
