Beat Sterling every which way tonight. Lufkin knocked out the Starting Ranger QB early on, BS had to bring WR #6 to wildcat it, he had some success early, but Lufkin had him limping before the night was over. Lufkin JV won big over Sterling JV and Lufkin Fresh won 52-8. Sterling's football future looks tough after this week of football.

Kountze is very down this year. We are too but I'm not surprised that we won this one. Unfortunately this was the only game this season that I felt that we were comfortable with getting a W. Don't see us winning anymore outside of Tarkington and after their game tonight I'm pretty sure that they will beat us too.

HF coasted that game, and LCM gets some credit for that. They really took the air out of the ball, and had some good fortune to continue their two long drives that ate up 1/3 of the game. I think HF had 6 total possessions for the game and never punted. The energy tonight had a different feel, more like the vidor game. More “buzzsawish” 😉

Very good game. It was back & forth all night. LCM looked like they were going to put it away with that TD at the end of the half. Orangefield came back with 2 scores & a couple of runs. LCM almost gave the game away with 2 fumbles (wink). Orangefield had the ball from a rollout pass to #14 to inside the 10. LCM defense stopped Orangefield at the 1/8” line. 🧐 Great game. LCM was able to substitute much much more than Orangefield was the one thing I noticed.

Yes, Huffman and Madisonville are normally bottom feeders who never win. Shepherd is currently decimated with injuries.

Woodville has a really good team...QB is slowly getting better. Defense is playing well and the line is good with a dynamic RB. Score should have been much, much more onesided. I think Woodville's goalline offense is still bad really poor...they should outlaw throwing the ball inside the 10.

Man what a game though. Looking forward to district starting. Hopefully we can keep the momentum going! Time to hit the hay though. Congrats players and coaches. 2 very good wins back to back.

Man HF just beat us fair and square. We had a very bad night and they capitalized on literally everything. HF is pretty dang good though.

HF is making a habit of leaving teams saying that. Stafford was a “4-pt favorite” over us tonight. Having said that, the rest of vidor’s season has impressed me.

Vidor could easily be 3 - 1, don’t know what team that was that played against HF. Not taking nothing away from HF because they are legit but that was not Pirate Football when they played each other.

Had the same thoughts, they have some good pieces and most likely will finish 4th but I didn’t fully buy in.

I don’t blame him at all. It’s just weird how everyone got sucked in last year and it somehow carried over to this year despite them not beating even a single decent 4A squad during that time frame.
