  1. Past hour
  2. Had a chance to sneak into the post season but ran out of juice the last week and a half. Finished the season 81-81. Bruce Bochy and the RANGERS agreed to part ways which opened the door for new manager, Skip Schumaker. [Hidden Content]
  3. I agree!
  4. not to answer for him, but that's not at all what he's saying.
  5. three teams worse than Newton (two significantly worse) have put up 35 on Woodville's D in 6 games. I struggle to see them holding Newton under 40. They'll also be the best defense Woodville has faced. I admire your confidence, but Woodville is deservedly the underdog here.
  6. 1. Westwood 2. Fairfield/Teague 3. Fairfield/Teague 4. Crockett That's my prediction.
  7. Right, this is a highly anticipated game (at least on paper) and I'm hoping it lives up to the hype!
  8. Well I don’t pay attention to all of that. I thought it was 9 weeks because that’s when report cards come out at 9 weeks. That’s good to know. Plus my kids are younger and pass.
  9. much improved, but probably a 6-4 team at the end of the season. Hopefully they'll prove me wrong.
  10. Today
  11. He was a tight end on that team, according to maxpreps.
  12. You don't think that doctor's should go to college?
  13. It’s been 10 years now since WOS beat them at NRG,wonder if he was on that team..he wasn’t the qb like you see so much with dad being HC.
  14. Terrible but to me he looks like a knucklehead who probably still wants to party all the time with 17-18 year olds!!
  15. I am sure Pop is proud. I tell my kids, whatever you do, do not embarrass me or your mother.
  16. Yes it has, this one deserves a little extra hype.
  17. Last year, District 9 finished as follows: 1. Westwood - lost to state champion Columbus in the second round 28-48 2. Diboll - eliminated by Franklin in the second round 14-31 3. Teague - eliminated by Hitchcock in the second round last year 14-56 4 Fairfield - lost to Yoakum in the second round 26-56 Obviously, we know that Hardin played Westwood and had the lead late in the 4th and pretty much the whole game, before Westwood pulled away in the last few minutes. These will probably be the same four teams, but not telling how 2-4 seeds will end up. Somebody a lot smarter than me may can shed some light into District 9.
  18. Celina ISD teacher and coach charged with invasive visual recording, placed on indefinite leave, officials say - CBS Texas HC/AD's son is the one arrested.
  19. I am not sure the result would have been the same in the Buna game. As one person mentioned on another thread, EC was missing a starting RB in that game? I feel as though Anahuac can score on East Chambers. Not enough to win, but certainly enough to keep it entertaining. Does anyone else think this way, or no?
  20. Actual history Barbay passed in 2010 , Shorter was a freshman . Newton won district but later got massacred in the playoffs by good Cameron Yoe team in the second round In 2011 WT Johnston took over. 2011 was the last time Newton lost a district game(EC 39-34) ..the loss had nothing to due with any injuries just got beat. 2013 Shorter got hurt in a game vs EC , Newton won that game 51-21 and later the district title .
  21. Best 3 teams with Monte Barrow as head coach (In order by year) 2017- 11 Games- 8-3 overall, 6-2 in district, Points Allowed-216, Points Scored- 362, Lost to Manvel 2nd Rd. 2018- 12 Games- 10-2 overall, 6-1 in district, Points Allowed- 264, Points Scored- 378, Lost to Marshall 2nd Rd. 2020- 12 Games- 8-4 overall, 6-1 in district, Points Allowed- 283, Points Scored-350, Lost to Ft. Bend Marshall 3rd Rd.
  22. I thought that before I posted my score prediction but OF and EC are vastly two different teams. OF sometimes will start slow before they put up the points but that seems to be the case with EC this year too ex. Buna
  23. I do know the district which will be the Westwood/Fairfield/Teague district. However idk who's in 1st place over there because district just started for them as well.
  24. Nothing this defense has done so far has convinced me they can hold Newton to 35. Scoring 42 on offense against a defense that has only allowed one 4A team to score over 20 will be tough also but we'll see
  25. Do you know the district they have to face in first round as the #1 seed
