Not downing him, just being honest. Doesn't look like a great hire based on what I can see so far. He's 26-51 as a head coach. Has 2 rings as an assistant at Aledo but you can only give him so much credit for winning a ring a an assistant. I'd give him more credit for that if he was at least a coordinator. Did seem to show a little improvement as a HC after his couple years at Aledo but there's not enough proof for me to be sure of that. He had winning seasons 2 of 4 years at Elgin. Don't know how much of that was due to coaching or just talent coming and going at Elgin. We'll see how it goes. I'm definitely hoping for the best though

I would be shocked if it’s anybody but Kyle. It’s his time. I’m not so sure the other former cougar you mentioned has much interest in leaving where he’s at right now. I also saw Mark Williams mentioned. Would be an amazing fit and would be successful no doubt. But I don’t think Coach Will wants another head gig at this point. He seems to enjoy what he’s doing.

Bottom line, Trump knows he has 4 years to fundamentally change all of our trade agreements to be more fair to us. So he is moving fast, but unlike first time, he has a staff that supports him and he learned many lessons during that first term. “Winning wise” it is a step up from Elgin to WV for a single season. It is a massive step down from Aledo. Also, there are many coaches who would rather make 6A money vs 3A money.

Winning wise it's a big step up. I've never met a coach who would rather be coaching a middle of the road 6A team opposed to a 3A that could win state.

I don't agree with everything DJT does. If I did, then I would be a mindless automaton like many people seem to be. But I can tell you right now, between DJT and Crazy Uncle Joe or Kamala the Ho, the choice is simple and crystal clear. Those were the choices. I made mine, and I'm happy with it. The choice to me was to go in the exact opposite direction of where I thought we should be headed (Biden/Harris) or head in the right direction with a few roadblocks and detours to navigate (Trump). It may take longer than I'd like, and the detours may be a little bumpy, but I'm gonna have a better chance at getting where I want to go with DJT. The alternative choice (ultra-progressive) was not only never going to even get me in the vicinity of where I wanted to be, it was going to put ALL of us in a bad place. Piss...moan... do whatever you like, but we will be in a better position when this is all said & done.
