I just hope that both teams refrain from trash talking and just play football.
-
True. Especially when we spent god knows how much on that new ticket booth. I wonder -- can we get our money back on that? LOL!

Oh wow.. that’s sad. Wish both schools would go back to the paper ticket method. That will solve that problem…

I agree with you. We need to give Rich a chance. He hasn't even completed his second year. Now, I'll grant that usually a coach's first year may not look good and the second a little better. But Ned's was backwards. 1st good, 2nd no so good. A few games Ned scored enough to win. So, I'll agree the defense needs to be coached a little better. We'll see if he makes a change. The third year, in my opinion, you should be challenging for District Championship. A coach has had enough time to put his system into motion.

I think that score from 2012 was 51-0. I have found that there are a lot of old scores on Max Preps that are just wrong. I don’t know if some child goes in there and changes them or what. It is frustrating. My research shows that the only time Warren has ever beat Newton was 1979 by the score 20-19.

That story is true there was a mixup with payk12 the provider...apparently this affected approximately 150 people
-
Well, it's been pretty accurate about picking the winners. Not sure about the cover.
-
I could be wrong but, I'm told ticket sales were outsourced? So said it wasn't done inhouse but through a contractor? And about all the BS with disrespect, powder, bottle rockets, etc. It's one of the biggest HS rivalries anywhere. And guess who is responsible for any shenanigans , KIDS....... PLAY BALL!!!!

What Week 9 game(s) will you be attending?
AggiesAreWe replied to AggiesAreWe's topic in High School Football
My pregame meal plan for this week is still up in the air. Not sure what game I will attend out of what I listed for Thursday and Friday. I should know by tomorrow and then post my pregame meal schedule. I do know what I'll be eating Saturday. Ribeyes and boiled shrimp at the tailgate party in Baton Rouge!! -

BEARCPA replied to AggiesAreWe's topic in High School Football
Need to know what your pregame meal would be for each game option. I have a toddler at home and don't get out much on Fridays anymore, so I have to live vicariously through these posts. -
Wonder if anyone checked the accuracy of the computer

Hardin 48 Anahuac 13 because Hardin is the better team. That's if Hardin doesn't come out too flat from the bi week.

Looks like Federal Judges don't run the National Guard..... The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Monday ruled that President Donald Trump can deploy Oregon National Guard troops into the city of Portland, delivering a significant victory to the Trump administration as it continues its effort to send federal forces into Democratic-led cities despite a string of recent setbacks in other district and appeals courts.
