"President Trump was right — again," White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement to Fox News Digital. "Those who engaged in this political scandal must be held accountable for the fraud they committed against President Trump and the lies they told to the American people." I'm not holding my breath, but it sure would be nice

Now that we have access to the preseason rankings and we are trying to get through this last month or so before football gets going I wanted to open up this discussion … What team or teams in y’all’s opinions will run through a gauntlet this season based off their schedules and pre season rankings? What team in your opinion’s will have the toughest slate this year?

DCTF District Projections 1. Orangefield 2. East Chambers 3. Hardin 4. Anahuac 5. Coldspring 6. Kirbyville 7. Buna Interesting that Orangefield’s LB Kaleb Menard is a pre season 3A All State pick but the pre season district defensive MVP pick is LB Kolby Jones of East Chambers… Could just be one of those accolades they won’t award both to one player kinda thing. No team from this district was in the Pre Season 3A D1 Top 25 rankings.

Just another bump in the road for Hunter and Hader. 10-6 on 10th inning Grand Slam. They will recoup.

From the article: Oh, the delicious irony. For many years I’ve been writing about the southern US border and the many ways in which Mexico has used it as a “steam valve” to get rid of people in perpetual poverty, as well as malcontents, violent criminals and political revolutionaries. Who could have foreseen a time when the conundrum would be reversed and Mexico would be crushed by an avalanche of its own unwanted citizens? But weren’t we told that migrants are an “economic boon” to any country lucky enough to have them? The argument among progressives and open border activists has always been that migrants are average law abiding people (just like us) who slip across the border simply to integrate into our society and live the American dream. They claim that Mexican leaders are not in control of the situation and that people are desperate to escape crime and social decline. In reality, government officials have long encouraged migrant caravans to traverse their territories and they have allowed illegal immigration into the US as a means to divert their failures into the laps of American taxpayers. Migrants aren’t trying to escape problems in Mexico, they ARE the problem in Mexico. The more of these caravans the Mexican authorities can get rid of, the better their economic situation appears. I guess I’m blessed not to have dealt with divorce and with kids involved. I would probably be in jail. I know lots of men who would make the better single parent, but the courts see it differently. I count my blessings. -

Just felt I could raise him better, in a more stable environment, and that he shouldn’t have to suffer because she decided she wanted out of our marriage. If we’d had a girl, I probably would have supported all I could—but not pursued managing custody. I would have felt she could’ve connected better with a daughter. Of course, she’s been through 3 husbands since. So, a daughter wouldn’t have had it great either I guess. Meanwhile, I’ve been married to my sweetheart, and lived in the same house, for 35 years. It took a lot for a man to get custody back in the ‘80’s in Texas. I was in and out of court for 5 years. Spent just about every dime I had because she kept accusing me of all kinds of stuff. You know the drill. As a man in a custody battle—guilty until proven innocent. -
2 young, Hispanic counselors helped save many camp girls. So, the accusations appear false. Others have also looked at the camp literature and found no inference even of racism. Saw another article where some previous campers talked about the camp and they weren’t white. Evidently, a very popular camp. I’d never heard of it before. [Hidden Content] Yes. It would have been inappropriate—at the least—even if true.

This is what I could find. Notice there are no exemptions for political affiliations. Yes, Texas does have FEMA. FEMA is the agency that provides disaster assistance to states, and Texas has been declared a disaster area for severe storms, straight-line winds, and flooding, making FEMA assistance available on FEMA.gov. Specifically, FEMA is providing assistance to Texas for the severe storms, straight-line winds, and flooding that began on July 2, 2025. FEMA's role in Texas includes: Supplementing recovery efforts: FEMA provides federal disaster assistance to help Texas recover from the recent severe weather. Operating Disaster Recovery Centers: FEMA, along with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and the State of Texas, is opening Disaster Recovery Centers to offer face-to-face help to residents. Providing Individual Assistance: FEMA's Individual Assistance program provides financial assistance to individuals and households for losses not covered by insurance, according to FEMA.gov. Supporting Public Assistance: FEMA also provides funding to state and local governments, as well as eligible private non-profit organizations, for emergency work and the repair or replacement of damaged facilities. -
