It has also bolded well for the numerous Woodville and Newton athletes that have played college football over the last decade. The "6A makes your stock rise" argument is ridiculous.

Of course. The vast majority of students who transfer to BH lave little or nothing to do with athletics. I have said before, far and away the academics draw students and families into BH. That, and the quality of life here is excellent. Even if I didn't have a kid in BHISD, Mont Belvieu is still a great place to live. Don't take my word for it. Look at the phenomenal population growth.

Woodville isn’t going to do much for Babin’s stock. He’s showcased all he can at Woodville. Playing 6A football competition may up his stock. He could up his NIL value or have a few more doors open to him. Don’t blame the kid or his parents for looking out for his best interest.
