I was told; Silsbee 7 TDs Lumberton 0TDs That's all I've heard so far.

This is what I was told by a reporter at Lumberton/Silsbee scrimmage: Had a short controlled session. Lumberton did not score. Silsbee scored 2 TD's Live 2 quarters: Lumberton only score was a 48 yard FG Silsbee scored 5 TD's. All 7 of Silsbee's TD's were via the pass. Was told Breeden looked very good. Wide receiver Williams was the main target and had 4 TD's.

In the controlled portion of the scrimmage Hardin -3 Deweyville -1 In the live quarter Hardin 2 Deweyville 0 Overall Deweyville didn't have the size and speed to match Hardin. It was the same as last week for the Pirates defense is well ahead of the offense. Deweyville is young and growing pains are part of achieving success.

Possibility of rain next Friday

Eight runs over this game and the previous 3 not counting what they may do in a meaningless 9th inning. Not a good time for the offense to fizzle. Early in the game the booth was discussing Lambert's workload and then he struggled, if he has hit a wall it's going to get tough to hang on to the West and a series loss to the Angels at home is not helpful. It's baseball though and who knows what will happen at the end.

You are not likely winning this game. No point in using up arms. After it got to 14-2, I would have had no problem leaving King in for another inning. Game was over at that point.

Bellville vs El Campo Controlled part El Campo 1 TD Bellville 0 TD Played a live half with a constant running clock which ended 7-7. Bellville will have some growing pains this year but hopefully will have it out together come district/playoffs. Baptism by fire begins with a trip to Waco Robinson next week. El Campo up front on both sides of the ball impressed me. Lots of size on the O line. They will contend for a district championship with Bay City IMO

But But why leave them in soooo long. I don't mind losing but not like that. Isn't that is what the bullpen is for? Just saying 16-2

Thanks for the correction. Khelvy carried the ball more than any other rb in our history. Not that he isnt deserving of the title. But we never needed a 2000 yard rb before. Most were shutting down in the 3rd cuz we were up by 40+. Hope he can get more rest this year. QB Dugas finally found his footing in the playoffs. So i expect more from him to balance the Silver O. Every team is gonna focus on stopping Jefferson. Vidor showed that last week in the scrimmage.

Mainly because you are down 14-2 and it's no reason to use up other bull pen arms in this game.

Ashworth didn't play in the live portion. Gohlke threw the TD. Henry didn't play. Ashworth took 8 snaps and threw three passes in the controlled portion. 1 completion. 1 incomplete. 1 on a deep ball to Daylon that might have been a TD if the WOS corner hadn't of tackled him and had pass interference called on him. PNG ran a very bland offense. Maybe 5 different plays total. No QB runs. WOS running backs are legit. Quick and hard to bring down. WOS scored their 2nd TD against backups.

For some reason in the quote it doesn’t show I took out Ashworth threw the TD. It was Gohlke with the TD pass.
