We all can go back two years ago and read all the post we made about SOC vs PNG in the championship game. I would be willing to bet similar post where made back then as they are being made now. Ive seen PN-G play plenty including Friday...SOC is no cupcake thats for sure i hope PN-G can win this but im just calling it like I see it having seen both teams

You are entitled to your opinion as am I. If you believe PNG will continue to have issues moving the ball this week as well, then you haven’t seen PNG play much this season. Our coaches are pretty good at making the necessary adjustments. Same will hold true again this coming Friday. And those first three games of the year SOC has played were all close against better defensives than their last 10 games. They will struggle to score on our defense than their last cupcakes they have been playing against lately and who knows what will happen from there.

SOC only lost that game by 7 and beat a team thats playing in the state quarterfinals next week...yes their district schedule is weak but they've still made it to state each of the last 4 years in spite of that weak schedule...PN-G really struggled to move the ball of Midlothian Heritage and I see similar results this week

My heart says PNG 24-23, my brain says SOC 42-13. They just don’t have any weaknesses.

If I was BH I wouldn’t agree to any stadiums in the Beaumont area. I would look to stallworth , Laporte or CEK. Why give PAM the advantage?

PNG will win in a close one. Our defense is 10 times better than last season. SOC will have trouble scoring and the young men will be prepared as they have been every game this season. Speed? Every team we have faced is/was faster than PNG. lol that gets really old. Literally, SOC hasn’t seen a quality defense since Duncanville and we saw the outcome in that game.

Vidor, PN-G and United won their games. Evadale, Kountze, LCM, Hamshire-Fannett and Buna are not nearly as good as they have been the last several years. HJ, Onalaska and Bridge City are good teams but were matched up against some of the better teams in this event. Same goes for Nederland, Jasper and East Chambers. In just about every game played (16), the Louisiana teams had the larger enrollment vs. their Texas match up.

I've been told likely Doggett Friday night...Lamar is bigger but Doggett has nicer locker rooms and actually wants to host. I dont think either home stadium would be able to host this game properly Doggett is close to halfway so to me Easy call

Conference Championships are set Ohio St vs Indiana Georgia vs Alabama Texas Tech vs BYU Virginia vs Duke Group of 5 Supposedly they won’t punish teams for losing these games. If Bama loses they will have 3 losses. Are they in? The conference champs aren’t guaranteed a spot this year. If Duke wins, the ACC may not get a team. Miami thinks they should be in.

Correct. It's not about capacity. It's about the willingness to host the game. Also, Lamar charges much more to rent their stadium. Lamar also doesn't provide adequate concessions or security that comes with that rental cost. At least that's how they used to be. May have changed their tune the last couple of years.
