Jesus is talking to individuals to do their part to help those who are in need. Key word “individuals” Throwing money at it really takes away from the actual “work” Jesus is talking about. also In 1 Timothy 5 Paul tells them to vet the widows, so if the widows had to be vetted then well …… I have another point about Matt. 25 but I’m not going to derail this topic. if people don’t see the wrong in govt taking(stealing) money from a worker to misuse as well as giving that money to someone else who will misuse it…..hmmm. I’m all for helping but I’m not for encouraging idleness PERIOD. you want me to trust the vetting process of govt officials….we ve seen were that goes. No thank you If throwing money at something to say you HELPED or to get CREDIT …..that’s just pathetic and lazy as well.

I know of about 4 former WOS players that are assistant coaches, one was a player back in the SC runs in the 80s and has been an assistant at WOS for a very long time, another was on the 2000 state finalist team. So they should know what all made up “The Mustang Way”. Plus Hickman was an assistant under CT for about 5 years so he should have knowledge of how practice and drills were run. I’m going into this season with an open mind, they have a clean slate to start over without the meddling of the previous superintendent. The real victims of that social experiment were the kids that played the last 3 years. Back to WOS- Newton, I’m taking WOS in a physical slugfest 20-12

I completely agree! Stayed there for two years 2012-2014 in Cordova. Had to cut grass with pistol in back pocket. Begged my Regional Administrator to please move me for the sake of saving my marriage. Police Union had a billboard that said enter at your own risk. A C Wharton was the Mayor.

UIL and All-State Committees are separate entities and neither have anything to do with the other. So the UIL does not or cannot make a rule about an "All-State" player playing down. Which "All-State" team would we use for judgement on this? The AP All-State, Dave Campbells All-State, 247 All-State, or the Wink Local Newspaper All-State team? All-State isn't a state-level honor. It's not given by the UIL. Now, ethically, this would be frowned upon and I highly doubt that any coach in this state would take a 5A All-State Running back and let him carry the ball 20 times for a 2A-D2 JV team. But, coaches will surprise you sometimes. That wouldn't be very fun at all. That's like letting Derrick Henry carry the ball for Aledo. It just removes any real competition and no real fun in that match.

They looked pretty good at times. Huffman is way more experienced so I kind of expected us to do well. I guess I'm just expecting way more of LCM based on last year.

If LC-M had their QB, I probably would go with them. I heard HF didn't look too good against y'all.

I'd be mildly shocked if HF won this game.
